Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is headed to theaters imminently, and if you're looking forward to even more Sonic film content, you won't have to worry. Sonic the Hedgehog 4 has been confirmed by Paramount Pictures. Any further information on the movie, beyond its projected launch in Spring 2027, is unknown. For now, Sonic 3 releases worldwide tomorrow, December 20th.

I heard there was a Comix Zone movie in the works, but I'm not sure if that's still in active development. I'd like to know what the plot of a Crazy Taxi movie would be:

If the previous ones have brought in a lot of money, it's not really surprising that they'll be making yet another one.
It's unfortunate, but I wouldn't be surprised if these movies are bringing in more money than actual modern Sonic videogames.
I certainly enjoyed the first two movies, but I haven't really played or bought any modern Sonic games, and I don't really have much interest in doing so due to the bad reception of them. Sonic Mania was probably the most recent Sonic game I got a chance at playing.

They could play it cool and have Sonic be like "Ya know, I could totally see us together in another timeline." and have them just be good close friends in the movie. Would be a good way to play it off without ruining any canon stuff, as awkward as it may have been.

A Heroes remake might be happening, but we don't have all the characters yet and I doubt they want to juggle all those characters for a movie. So, it is probably a 06 movie then again, they didn't do Metal Sonic yet. Unlike the other characters, he wouldn't become a hero/anti-hero, but I'm not sure if he can lead a whole movie. I think they also want to do a Shadow Movie, so I wonder how that's going to fit in.
