Ágata got a C64 mini for working and pay her rent!

Nice. I just replaced my x670 with an Asus x870e. Didn't really need to but since I wanted to upgrade my sons machine he inherited the MSI along with a new 9700x and 32 gb of DDR5. Wanted to snag the 9800x3d but given their limited stock I think I'll hold out and see how the 9900-9950x3d cpus are. My 7800x3d still holds up quite well so I'm in no rush to upgrade.View attachment 473316

Do you have any actual evidence to back this up or are you just making assumptions?
A Royal flush
Only tasted the blackberry and salted caramel so far, salted caramel was a bit strong flavor wise, blackberry was pretty good.

Not the most exciting of things, but I wanted to upgrade my 750w PSU because I felt uncomfortable running this on my Ryzen 5900X/Nvidia 3090, so I got this NZXT 1200W PSU:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0DCNLFHS3
I plan on reusing the 750w when I build a replacement for my backup server/firewall next year, currently using a thin client but hate having to use external HDDs which won't spin down and are hotter than I'd like.
Also picked up this USB hub because my system is in a different room, hopefully this one isn't slow as F like my current one:

Why would anyone think you were kidding about dual tower coolers? They have been around for decades, they aren't a secret that no one has seen before. D14 was the goat at the time it was released, d15 was an improvement.
Nonsense. The big coolers have been around for over a decade at this point. Before the d15, there was the d14. Thermalright had the silver arrow, Alpenföhn had the k2 & there are others I've no doubt forgetton. All the big dual tower coolers have a metal backplate as part of the the mounting kit, the cooler and the weight is on that. It's a tried and tested tech that has been around for years, if using them would make your pc "eat shit", it would have happened in mass by now.
It's one thing to prefer AIOs, but no need to spread nonsense.
Ok, I admit I was not "accurate" on the CPU cooling fan, and that's fine. But looking at the unit, how close is that thing to the left panel to your PC Case? And depending on your mobo, you're going to have your RAM on either one side or on BOTH sides. I just can't imagine that this creates TERRIFIC air-flow in your case. Looks like it would be almost insurmountable. And like I said, it's just HEINOUS. Seems to me that it would just RUIN any reason for a PC case with a window...

It's a 4080 Super. Yeah, he was also rocking an i5 11600k which was no slouch but the Ryzen 7 9700x we replaced it with is a much better cpu. That's a sweet build Fringle, and giving your son's build some seriously FAT DDR5 is DOPE. I like the "GOLD" lighting in it. What kind of GPU is that (other than GigaByte)?
@tech3475 & @Armadillo, Ok, I admit I was not "accurate" on the CPU cooling fan, and that's my foot in my big mouth. Well, considering I built this thing in 2020, which makes it almost 5 years old, yeah dude I did some research on these types of CPU fans on like www.tomshardware.com, and a few other sites that I cannot name as I only visited them concerning this element of my then-PS BUILD.
Sorry I cannot give you more links, but it didn't take much research to choose liquid cooling. These things are 1) AESTHETICALLY ATROCIOUIS 2) It seems like it would hinder the flow of air in your case. The more empty space the better, yes?
I went with liquid cooling and I FEEL it was the right choice. What are you cats rocking?

TBH I'd need to see some kind of report in regards to the Noctua's causing mobos to fail, similar to the reports I've seen of specific AIOs failing due to IIRC formula issues.
Speaking for myself, I have two systems, my main gaming rig with an NZXT AIO and a home built server with a Noctua NH-D14, the latter of which I installed a couple of years ago during a heat wave because the stock AMD HSF was making the CPU temps too high (90c+).
Just now, after having the server on for a month, I rebooted into memtest86 and it only reported 36C for the RAM temp (this is ECC RAM with a temp sensor, unfortunately I couldn't read this in unraid). Granted my comparisons/references are limited, my HP Gen8 Microserver reports 28C, but this is also 8GB DDR3 RAM vs 16GB DDR4.
Note that I have several fans in the case, including two at the top and one at the rear and inputs at the front and side.
I remember when I looked into this years ago, for my use case I only really went with the AIO for aeasthetics in the gaming rig, but even then I'm not entirely happy with it because of how I have to route the pipes (it unavoidably touches the GPU).
One thing to note is that empty space is not the main factor, airflow is, this is why servers may be 1U but have good performace at the expense of being noisy as hell.
Thanks to @AKNES just now I am un-packaging my very early Christmas present.
A 8BitDo Ultimate C2 Bluetooth Controller.
A gift for testing the product before the official launch!
So far is a very nice controller, the feeling and the working is very similar to my loved Gulikit KK3! I will let you to know how is this new controller

L4 and R4 are macro buttons, can be mapped to one or two simultaneous buttons. and also the controller have the turbo function. Thanks for getting back to me, and yes, 90c+ is definitely alarming, glad you got that worked out. Your fan layout sounds a lot like mine, the more the better, and they make like ZERO NOISE. The only time my fans DO make noise are when I'm doodling around in Photoshop (the fans will speed up) or when I'm booting into or out of Windows. And yep, servers generate a lot of heat so being noisy is almost not an option. This computer that I'm using now is my second build.
I still have my first one but it's very slow and needs an overhaul. I had built that once and then had to rebuild it again. I'm sitting in my bedroom playing Halo (my computer was off at the time), and all of a sudden, I hear this awful grinding noise and could see out of my peripheral vision that my computer was now on, and had sparks coming out of the power supply (it has a window). I cut the power supply off and I could see and smell smoke in the air. Damn!
Turns out the PS was just insufficient for the build (it came with the case), and had to replace everything in the case except for the fans. Everything else bought the farm. So there's a lesson learned!
Anyway, thanks for correcting me on my BS and that won't happen again. Take care and see you in the forums! View attachment 473643

Are those an additional set up buttons on the back? Not the R1/R2, but what looks like a smaller R3? Nice controller dude!
I’m getting the keypad with my 8bitdo keyboard, i’ll post when I get iTI need one but full size with numeric and directional keys, do you know about one?
, allthough my girlfriend thinks it’s a bit loud, I call it “Clicky”

Finally got all of this week's scheduled spoils.
The start makes this book, been reading this webcomic for, what, 15 years now? It's apparently slowly coming to an end and thus the creator is starting to release the thing in physical form. Naturally decided I gotta get in on it so here's the first one. Limited hardcover edition because it was only a few bucks more than the paperback version. Decent print quality and thicc at nearly 570 pages.

Also got some more keychain stuff. With the two glowing ones now being nipple piercings on my bag. The other Misdreavus is one of those pull reel thing keychain bits and lives inside the top compartment now, holding onto other stuff.
View attachment 473671View attachment 473672
Also surprisingly got one of the Ultrakill vinyls from Keygen Church. Things basically all sold out nearly instantly but somehow the stock went back up by one after a couple minutes (I guess a cart timed out) and I snagged one of those.

And last but not least a necklace that'll be a keychain thing asap and a glow in the dark pin.

Was a little kitty the culprit?Just got some defect in my infotainment screen.

But it’s ok. I have a replacement on the way. Cost me $35 USD

No no no. My cat would nnnnEEVeR do that. I thought maybe temperature play a roll, but now. 20f isn’t cold enough to effect the screen in this way. May have been prolonged direct sunlight. Those are not scratches. The screen is damaged in the inside. Delamination? Touch is effected. Was a little kitty the culprit?
