I am going to be brutally honest this is a hard question because most of us don’t know you, your situation or life. You are only 15 too, and it’s honestly hard to say how much it might affect you or your future. I think most of us don’t know what’s in store at all. The same went for the 2016 presidency too. I don’t want to be doomer about this either but no one knows how any presidency will affect anyone/the future. Harris could have been same shit different day (and probably would!), or something else. Trump might be same stuff from his first term, or different.

Long story short, no one knows, time will tell, and we won’t know until Trump assumes office the first day.

I honestly think that says a lot about the current environment of voters. Turns out, no one wanted either candidate. The US really has gotten to the point where “lesser of two evils” or “other guy bad!” Is no longer a selling point. Which I wish people would listen to instead of blaming others for Trump’s victory. The blame falls on a failing election system, a party that constantly does nothing, and another party that’s found the winning formula with extremism. On a serious note, while a lot of people died from Covid, regardless of their political alignment, it was not 16 million. I believe the last number was about 1.2 million. But in a span of 4 years, there came a lot more eligible voters who couldn't vote before.

Ho boy, I can assure you that the MAGA fans wanted him back in power. Not only then but also the rich people and the poor people where Trump successfully convinced both audiences that he would make their lives better economically and protect them.

It's true that Kamala was the considered the "okay" candidate (as it, it could be worse) from a Dems perspective, but an audience was definitely present for Trump and by a large margin, I'd say.

I fall in that camp. I voted based on the hate and vitrol that is still getting spit out by the losers acting like they know the future and can predict whats going to happen. Time will tell but this crying gets the US no where. The world keeps spinning regardless of whether we like it or not. You can be positive or negative its a free country. But actions speak alot more than words and well see in the coming days whose actions seem to care about the country.
