When you say OFW doesn't work, what happens when you try booting OFW?

I am seeking clarification regarding the process of downloading games using Tinfoil with Custom Firmware (CFW) version 19.0.0 for the Nintendo Switch. Specifically, I understand that direct downloading from Tinfoil may not be possible, and I would like to know the appropriate method to obtain games in this context.

Additionally, I have encountered various instructional videos, each presenting different methods for organizing game files on the SD card. To ensure I follow the correct procedure, I would appreciate any recommendations for a clear and straightforward video guide that outlines the proper folder structure for placing the game files.

Thanks a lot all.

@BigOnYa @Waifu4Life and now??

Oh I laughed because you said firmware = performance, which is not true. Sometimes big N will put out a firmware update just to update the naughty words list, with no impact to performance. Either way, cheers. :grog:

Are you retarded?

1- I said and I quote myself "What's the point of updating firmware on an emulator?" Which is a question, not an insult or a way to make fun of anyone.

2- Even if what chrisrlink said was true, again, what the hell does this have to do with an emulator like Yuzu or Ryujinx, the firmware issue is with real hardware.

19.0.1 update is out. Does this require a new version of atmosphere?
I've seen people running the beta version of atmosphere with 19.0.1, should work anyway since it's just a minor update. but anyway if you are still on 18.1.0 then stay, there's no game requiring 19.0 as far as i know.

I haven't patched my Switch systems since the 19.0.0 update. I'm going to update my systems and try patching them afterwards. I'll let you know.

EDIT: Works fine.

Thanks. Are you using Atmosphere 1.8.0 (the last official release)?
