This may be an unpopular opinion, but I thought the Wii U Pro controllers were like the best wireless controllers ever made when you consider comfort and battery life. (around 25 to 30 hours of actual gameplay) I use them on PC and all my consoles with Mayflash Magic. Switch Pros suck in comparison because as mentioned the small sticks. And you get 5 to 8 times as much battery life as the ridiculous Playstation controllers that if you game a lot you'll be charging all the time, and Xbox still to this day is making you use batteries really?
Edit: seems I just read on Series X you can finally plug in a Xbox controller with usb, (I abandoned buying Xbox in the middle of the Xbox One console cycle and only game on PC/Playstation/Switch) but I just prefer the feel of Wii U Pro over it.
Also you can get a perfectly good used Wii U Pro controller on Ebay right now for $25. Many of them are hardly used because everyone hated the Wii U. You would also need a Mayflash Magic which are like $20 on Ebay, I have like 4 of them. Although someone made it where you can use just about any controller on Switch with homebrew so you may not actually need the Mayflash adapter, I'm not sure. Like I have no idea if it's updated for latest Switch firmware or not and I'm not sure if it ever supported the Wii U Pro or not.
