Is Nintendo watching us?

Yeah, there's a dude working for them with binoculars sitting on top of the roof of the house that's across the street from my house.
I wish he would leave though, he's making me uncomfortable

Jeezz... damn... at least you could have invited me for tea or something?! Fine! *climbs down*

I understand Nintendo monitoring to ensure their IPs aren't illicitly distributed. But how much does Nintendo care about folks cheating on games? Back during the GBA, DS, 3DS era there were 3rd party cheating devices like action replay and Nintendo didn't care. Hacked Switches have that capability but it seems like the cheating offense is taken more seriously now by Nintendo.

Because it can ruin people's experiences, causing them to stop playing / paying for online

I completely understand them trying to deter cheating online. I wish it didn't affect the users who only want cheats to play their games in offline mode.

There was a legal case over game genie:

The way I interpret this is: cheat as much as you want, but don’t sell the results of your cheating to people.

I do hope they are watching, because otherwise I wouldn't know a good way to let them know that they can suck my hairy balls ... this goes especially out to their legal team :P

All they can do is "look" If they want to try to control the internet based on a leak topic good luck with that shit.

Only cunts cheat online and they deserve to get banned. I've heard of people getting banned for save editing and assume that using cheats offline on your sysNAND can also get you banned next time you go online.

Is using legal Pokemon (a hacked Pokemon which is indistinguishable from an unhacked Pokemon) cheating? In my opinion, no. I disagree with Japan's laws on save editing, but if you're going to illegally distribute hacked Pokemon then you can expect to face legal consequences.

he accidentally posted his receipt on here which spawned the post your receipt joke and memes :P
He probably still would have been caught but posting his receipt online made it much faster to find him. To my understanding, it wasn't an accident but rather he wanted to prove he did indeed get the game a week early.

If Nintendo is watching us, we just need to watch them back. Make them uncomfortable
Seeing your profile picture while reading this makes me want to start a fundraiser so that we can rent an office next to their headquarters and plaster the windows with pictures like that, along with the caption "WE ARE WATCHING YOU!"
