What part of the Sonic Central livestream interested you the most?
Let us know!

What we got:
Merch, mobile game content, DC crossover which ISN'T game-related, cosmetic crossovers with other SEGA games, more LEGO, more Roblox, a new teaser for the Shadow animation, a new Sonic animation without a teaser, more spoilers for Shadow Generations, a book, and an unnecessary Sonic Movie interview-ish thingy.

What we didn't get:
A new Sonic game.

You're welcome.

shadow gens is starting to look really, REALLY good honestly. i do wonder how long it is compared to sonic gens, if it's practically the same length then that'd be huge. either way i'm looking forward to it next month. the prologue animations also look incredible.

Wait until you see the official walmart roblox experience-
I looked it up, and yup it exists. I get the honor of seeing all sorts of ripoff Experiences in Roblox. You can see Mr. Beast's pixelated face randomly plastered around, known IP's injected into a tycoon game template, and of course ripoffs of existing popular games on the platform. It's muddy in there. I didn't think for a second the Sonic game was official, but now I know.

That's what I learned today.

i want sonic adventures 3 and non of this bs
You know what's crazy? I just thought of how many different franchises have been made with Sonic since Sonic Adventure 2. Off the top of my head, I can think of:

Heroes
Shadow the Hedgehog
Unleashed
The Secret Rings/and the Dark Knight
Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood
Colors
Lost World
Generations/Forces
Frontiers
BOOM
Mania
Superstars
Advance

I know I could look up the rest, but that's more than enough. My head hurts.

Basically, instead of a single formula, Sonic has branched out into all sorts of interpretations to keep the series fresh and disconnected. Not a bad idea, though I personally wish the franchise found success in a single mainstay series.

Sonic Adventure does represent that single mainstay series, but Sonic '06 is unfortunately part of that. Any Sega executive that looks at the numbers for Sonic '06 will immediately trash any project related to it. That's why we haven't seen the series in about 20 years.

Going against the grain, I like most of it. Wasn't expecting a new game, when Gens is not even out yet. Having another Shadow skin is pretty funny. I really hope Infinite comes back. Also, all that teasing, can we just get a modern Sonic X-like show now?

you think 3 is the final movie? what i got from the last few words "we gotta get back to making a movie" a 4th one is in the works maybe Mephilis? and silver
