PS5 displays logo then shot down!

Hello.
I have a PS5 that has the following problem. It starts but when it reaches the logo and should enter the dashboard, it suddenly stops. If I enter safe mode, I have no problem, I can navigate through the settings without stopping. I tried reinstalling fw and recovery, nothing worked. How to get to the logo and enter the menu suddenly stops. I changed the HDMI encoder IC but it does the same thing. I did not detect any short around the encoder. From your experience what could be the problem? Thank you in advance.

if liquid metal checked,. I believe is SSD controller. I have one would crash every game with CE-108255-1 error but stays in dash/home page not shutting down

The liquid metal is cleaned and put back another new one with great care. It doesn't give me any error, simply after the PS logo appears, it shut down. I repeat in safe mode, there is no problem, I can stay there for an hour. I thought about some RAM memory ?!?

Could be vram too. Check UART error code for some hints

I have one similar to yours. I can enter the OS with no issue. However, whenever I try to start a game, PS5 throw out this error. Do you have any information to share? really appeciate that!

I have a console on the edm-010 board with exactly the same problem, after the PS5 logo, the console turns off and goes into safe mode again, where it asks to install the software again, the installation goes without errors! I changed the SSD controller, then re-soldered all 6 SSD cans, no result, then I transferred 3 SSD cans with a donor connector near the SSD, also when replacing 3 other cans (even one at a time) the consoles were not taken into account, in the end the console still turned off on the PS logo! I think either one of the SSD banks died, which cannot be replaced from the donor, or it is really the RAM, the same error about turning off the console 80802220 on UART. I will try to replace the RAM in the near future

Hi I have the same problem with error 80802220. Did you manage to fix the problem by resoldering the RAM?
