mocha is supposed to do that. it returns you to the home screen after loading. you did get the mocha splash screen, correct? after you're back on the home screen, go into system settings.
BTW, I seem to recall downloading a game to mod this, but not I can't remember if that was for this unit or my Wii. Is there a way to check for the original exploit?
the easiest way to check is to jot down the title id listed on the autobooting screen. I can't recall if it starts with 00050000 (the prefix for games), but type in 00050000-xxxxxxxx (where x is the title id listed on that screen). I don't think it says 00050000, but you want that when you google the full title id. alternatively, you can look for the title id on the cbhc webpage. part of the code says what each title id stands for (i.e. the game). https://github.com/FIX94/haxchi/blob/master/installer/src/gameList.h#L14-L102
edit: doesn't seem you need 00050000 for the cbhc link, so you might start with that.
I don't think you can move or delete the game anymore, since it's supposed to have those safeguards, but I wouldn't try it anyway. formatting or another one is deleting the account that bought the game. basically, anything that could interfere with the game opening at boot.
It mentions to do different things depending on what was originally installed. I can’t recall if I installed Mocha CFW with the online exploit, CBHC etc. Looks like I did use the online exploit as I read this thread from 4 years ago.
How would I go about checking this to know what to uninstall? Obviously want to take care not to brick the unit inadvertently!
Also, do I use the original SD card that I've already modded the unit with?
Lastly the guide mentions going from 5.5.6 to Aroma but believe I’m on 5.5.3.
Thx!

Just updating thread as I check things. In the main HBL, when I launch CBHC Installer, I get a "Failed to open file chbc.elf" error.
Also, confirming it has the ! with Don't Touch Me.
Screen shots attached of what my console boots into, and files on main directory of SD card...

Okay, I think these are the steps I need to perform. I'm going to keep the existing SD32 card just in case.
1.Get to the main Wii U menu, click on System Settings, Data Management, delete the Don't Touch Me app
2. Format a new SD card to FAT32/32kb, no title
3. Go through the guide step by step
Step 1 is the one that I'm most nervous about, no issues deleting the "Don't Touch me!" app?
for your problem while launching the cbhc installer, check if the file is in his folder (maybe replace it with a new downloaded one).
and maybe you need to enable sigpatches before boot this homebrew

Hmmm…thanks will try to find the file in that case.

Okay, found the file and installed Aroma.
I also tried to install Pretendo, but got the 102-2452 error when I clicked on send password to registered emails. Apparently that means my console was banned? Anyway to get on Pretendo at this point?
