Is there a homebrew app that can tweak the Switch's HDMI output?

I was playing some Demon Throttle on a CRT connected to my Switch today, but I couldn't get it to look just right. The game wouldn't fill the entire screen despite being in 4:3, and I also have some burn-in on my CRT because the Switch had this weird curved video output which wouldn't fill the whole screen. I am using a HDMI to RCA converter for converting the signal, and I've tried two different ones [also tried two docks], so my Switch is definitely the problem here.

Homebrew that lets me expand the output past the 100% that HOS allows would also work.

Not sure about for Switch, but I know there were adapters for older consoles that could convert 16:9 to 4:3, but I believe that feature only worked for games that supported aspect ratio switching.

Secondly, Demon Throttle does not output in 4:3. When you choose "No Border" in the options, there is still a border. It's just that the border is black instead of there actually being no border.

My suggestion would be to see if there is a service menu on the CRT. If so, you could probably adjust the picture height/width through that. Be careful though if you are able to access such a menu, one wrong change in the wrong setting could render the tv useless.

You’re going to need something fancier like a retrotink or OSSC to do what you want

Also I doubt your switch caused burn in already unless you’re leaving it on for hours doing nothing. Even so that’s not the switches fault this is by nature a CRT issue. I own an OLED tv and would never blame the ps5 for having the binding of Isaac health bar burnt into my screen

I checked my TV's menu [from the menu button on the bottom] too, but it only has options to change the color profile and the input.

The menu button is not the service menu. What is the tv make and model?
