Is it possible to install unlicensed DLCs on legit game?

(Don't know if such topic is allowed in the forum if it's not allowed please delete the post and don't ban me)
Some games on xbox marketplace are currently dirt cheap but DLCs are not, and I can't afford all of them if includ DLCs so I'm wondering, and I heard on a 3DS you can do such thing.
 
yes, but only some games. only games that had a second "dlc install" disc like borderlands, Skyrim, oblivion (not including the minor dlc), fallout 3/nv, Forza motorsport 2 and saints row 3


I heard that serious Sam classic 1 and 2 can also be injected and played just fine, just like Doritos crash course and hexic hd

DLC has to have a "valid" signature just like everything else pulled from XBL on a retail. Anything that isn't CON/PIRS (user generated/Microsoft signed - see the above comment for retail discs with DLC installers for an example)

In short anything that only exists as an Xbox Live download follows the same rules for purchased games/XBLA full game licenses/everything else
