Missing: maybe some end game textures and dialog portraits (99% completed).

Install:
1. Download the latest Pcsx2 nightly build (v1.7.5000 +).
2. Extract the folder to the pcsx2 texture folder (...\Pcsx2\textures\SLUS-21291\replacements). SSD recommended!
3. Config > Graphics Settings > Advanced tab:
Load Texture: ON | Precache Texture: OFF | Async Texture: ON

Optional / Obsolete: To fix the dialog box glitch: set TC Offset X: 180, TC Offset Y: 450. Not perfect, but much better. (You don't need this since Version 3.0)

4. Have fun!

damn fine series. the spiritual successor, Eiyuden Chronicle Rising is coming out this year, I believe. it will be on xbox game pass on day one, which I plan to check out.

Hi Panda_Venom! Really nice job with texture pack. After trying it I decided to see if I could fix some of those lines that get caused by upscaling. I am by no means an expert on photo editing and I simply used Paint.NET. After a lot of trial and error I started having some success. I tried cleaning up the a191c69462b2756d-3d9ff0bf6906d4cc-00005d93.dds file for the default text dialog box. I also cleaned up the e740a895959158ed-fbdacd8e8e33a876-00005d93.dds file which is the default menu screen layout. They look best with PCSX2 internal resolution set at 720p or 1080p. Using 2K and 4K didn't look good and really increases the line artifacts.

After doing those files I decided to clean up all the menu icons, item icons, battle icons, numbers in mini games, and some mini game menus that displayed small lines by resizing them.

I just wanted give you guys a big thanks! I've played Suikoden I, II, III and IV during my childhood, but wasn't able to play Suikoden V. I came to play this after I finished playing Eiyuden Chronicles, and I'm glad I was able to stumble upon this guide, and I'm glad that it's still active. Now I get to enjoy the game as if it was just released this year!

Thank you @Panda_Venom and @whitezombie for this. I played Suikoden V back in the day but Inwasn’t able to finish it because my CD had a lot of scratches and it would hang on FMVs. I gave up on it. Fast forward to 2024, I recently finished Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes and it left me wanting more.

Then I saw this and thought maybe I can finally finish the V. I am 35 hours in now.
