Reverse engineered gba board

I was just reading a hackaday article about this and thought it might be of interest to people here. Natalie the Nerd has successfully reverse engineered the gba main board.

Yes I believe she has a working gba using this board

It'd be cool to see something like this adapted to make something like third-party/homemade Game Boy Player hardware. It's already cool, but that'd be the icing on the cake, imo.

Someone was working on making a Super Gameboy into a SNESless portable, but I don't remember if it ever got finished.

The design a lot in-house as well, and I think Retrosix might be working on a board too.
