failed hwfly install in lite, no screen

installed hwfly, didnt work. checked my soldering job, had some issues. pulled it all out to start over and screen doesnt work? touch does work but black screen and no backlight. ideas on what i should check?

Hard to tell without pictures. Check the screen connector and the ribbon flex

i pulled everything out to start over which is when i noticed the black screen issue. i check the ribbon cable to the lcd and it appears fine. i didnt remove it during install

bad pictures. Make pictures with your phone instead.

I think the MAX chip is fried and needs replacement.

Have you disconnected the battery while soldering?

the battery was disconnected during installation. MAX chip? and its location?

IF the issue is solvable from one of those videos it is beyond my capabilities to perform. anyone want to take a crack at it? i can send the motherboard to someone for repair

You need to provide better photos to be honest, show the LCD ribbon cable.

I would check main flex that connects both boards. Check the fpc connectors on both boards. The smaller extra board can also short out and do this as well. See this issue all the time on lites. Can also be backlight flex cable and or connector as well.
