Before I answer your questions, a small teaser of the upcoming update for 4IFIR:
Status 4Monitor - has become more responsive than ever. The existing overlays have been improved, and several completely new, unobtrusive modes, designed for everyday use.
In the screenshot, for example, Nano Overlay mode.
Impressive, isn't it?... Are you not impressed? It's strange, because it was definitely supposed to impress you.
How many another projects like 4IFIR - do you know that allow you to overclock the display matrix to a stable 90Hz?... Yes, that's exactly what you think!
But this is not even the most impressive of the comming feautures. Stay in touch with 4IFIR, I'll be back to tell you more
Hope you have good news some day for Erista but I'm not looking into any kind of extreme OC but rather if there's more performance per same wattage and same clocks I'm in
I'm also happy in 60FPS as max...
I also only play portable with switch original charger plugged, currently I'm using max of around 1581mhz or less in the CPU and anything at or below docked GPU clocks and memories at 1862mhz or lower, do you think I could benefit of any extra performance on this conservative clocks for Erista with what you are working on???
My own Erista I use cannot handle above 2.008GHZ-2.013GHZ on cpu, while my friends own Erista handles above 2.091GHZ. Granted this could be fixed with voltage tweaks but again some switches can just barely do 1.897GHZ
Im of the mind of let people burn their hardware if they want, but some just see higher performance and don't stop to question if its even good for their units
I would have given a link to GBAtemp, but the RetroNX community spent a month a year ago to cancel the 4IFIR from GBAtemp (and other ENG platforms). You can find link to the project page on 4PDA in my profile signature.
p.s. Sorry for Russian, use Google translator for sites.
It is worth mentioning that the public release of 4IFIR is currently limited to ~2.3GHz om ERISTA. Frequencies above will be available in the update, and most likely - I will limit its use to 4IFIR autoboost scenarious.
It automatically fires (lol) when starting games, as well as loading saves and levels, as in most loading screens.
This limitation added due to the fact that such performance on the console outside of auto-boost is practically not needed. The maximum value of the CPU frequency was calculated by me for the needs of full-speed emulation of Citra 3DS.
However, if someone asks for the possibility of manual access to 2.6GHz, I will not refuse him.

Sorry, that was bad sarcasm. 4IFIR is open source and available to everyone. Dynamic link to the latest version:

Extract, turn on, enjoy.
I hope you will like it.

P.s. RetroNX shtheads, I know you're reading this. Let me remind you that you can stop this shameful performance at any time. To do this, it is enough to find the courage in yourself to apologize.
It is pointless to ignore the facts known to every third member of the community. There is no need to wait until everyone knows the story of your meanness.
Everyone made mistakes, but only the brave ones admit it.
Only the necessary minimum of components, almost each of which has refinements, performance optimizations and functional improvements (I see no reason to include in the build components that have not been modified by me, which you can easily install yourself through the application store). But yes, 4IFIR is self-sufficient, it can be installed even on an empty memory card.
I'm working on creating an automatic hooker, a method to unlock framerate and disable vsync, double buffering, etc. - which in theory is suitable for all games. But not the fact that I will succeed in the near future (And not the fact that I will succeed at all.). AIO Installer is included in the package. You can download graphic upgrades and FPS unlock patches with it.
Unfortunately, by separating kip from 4IFIR, you will not only not get most of the optimizations included in the 4mosphere, but most likely you will get problems with stability. Such complex improvements required to assemble a customized Atmosphere and loader for them. And simply impossible at the kip level.
4IFIR already includes many performance or power optimizations for ERISTA. However, in the upcoming update, I plan to port the latest features - implemented for MARIKO. Including complex optimization for GPU modes.
At MARIKO, by the way, at the expense of them, the console is capable of delivering three times more performance per watt than any other solution. That is, in fact, without going beyond the stock heat pack, the console on 4IFIR can work with gaming performance three times more (~1GHZ = GPU of stock eq)!
Energy efficient overclocking for those who are afraid of overclocking. There will be more optimizations on ERISTA, since underclocking below the stock values of the heat pack is possible on it.
Hello autonomy comparable to MARIKO.

You are one of those jerks involved in coordinated attack and harassment on 4IFIR.
It was easy - I know of only one person capable of asserting such irrational nonsense.
No offense, but I won't waste time on a person willing to argue vs facts and obvious axioms.
p.s.:
~1.5kk downloads 13 months since first release 0 known cases of burning consoles
- is much more than enough for any adequate person.

Better. You can get much better performance with the same power consumption as now. I'm not sure of the exact value yet, but in the case of MARIKO, as I said, we are talking about a TRIPLE increase in performance per watt.
It also means that you can get the same performance as now, while significantly reducing TDP, heating, energy consumption, fan noise etc. You don't even need an external power supply, the battery can easily handle it.

Your console is capable. You just can't do it.

Ah yes coordinated attack, sure bud. But either way, cpu binning plays a huge part in this, especially mariko because Nintendo loves saving money. Either way you haven’t answered one of my questions, which was, what is the cpu voltage you are using for 2.601 GHz

I’m over at the RetroNX discord, and in full honesty you’re not as hated as you think you are. People have a sour taste in their mouth over there due to that original thread with you constantly ignoring evidence and claiming things that weren’t safe were. You fix those things and that sour taste will probably disappear

Just because you're an accomplice in crime doesn't make you equal to them. You are not even a developer, but just a fan of conceited developers, a minion who does the dirtiest work for them. For example, to sit for a whole year on a Russian-language forum, pretending to be a local, in order to then retell the news to your idols. Once, you were shitting in my thread for almost three days in a row, writing facts on the go. Three days, without a break for sleep, judging by the frequency of posts.
Even now, when the truth is proven and well known, you manage to slander me 7 times in two sentences.
Your opinion doesn't interest me. If your hosts have something to say, they will come and say it themselves, instead of sending a lackey.
I have no reason to continue the dialogue with you. You have used up the credit of my patience long ago. In my value system, you are bankrupt.
P.s. It's funny that you have the audacity to argue about something you're completely incompetent with one of the most advanced experts in the world.
Good news from 4IFIR: I was able to significantly reduce thepower consumptionon ERISTA, for low-power load scenarios. Indie projects like Into The Breach, in theory, will be able to runmore than 7 hours on battery. I'll take precise measurements later.

Lmao what. Yes I’m not a developer (unless you count very and I mean very simple code writing as being a dev, then sure), and I don’t even know the first thing about how the switches clockspeed managers or dram timings work. The simple fact that you knew how to overclock the switches display proves that. In full honesty call it fanboying or whatever, but the fact is ctc and zatchy have provided far more evidence for what is and isn’t safe than you. RetroNX didn’t send me or anything, and if you want to keep that narrative up, be my guest.
@Cooler3D I think you should restart, forget about the past and keep doing your good work without the flamming.
I understand your point but for the community that has nothing to do with it, it looks pretty bad and you only lose credits...
My opinion is that you should do a new thread keep it with respect, do your amazing work and forget about whoever is against it, like don't reply with more bad stuff...
Ps: who loses is the community that could be appreciating your hard work. Don't need to reply to this comment, it's just my general opinion!!!!!
^^^
I agree with this 100%. Lots of people are curious and ask questions but most have no hate in their hearts.
It’s hard to come into any situation, carrying the past with you, and not lash out at injustice wether real or imagined or somewhere in between. I wasn’t there so I’m not one to judge. Not saying you have to forgive and forget but somebody has to break the cycle.

No, let them fight ^^ but let's just bring it back on the forum so we can read this spicy thread and enjoy all of this hate while frying eggs on our OC switches.
@Cooler3D and you sir, thank you for your work buuut dont be a wussy : ) also if not here maybe some telegram, discord at least?
