Homebrew Bootmii not opening

I cannot open BootMii as IOS at all. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or..? Here is a video of how I install it and it not working.
1. I am a 11 year old so that is the one in the reflection
2. At 10 seconds I accidently exit the HackMii installer so I reopen it.

Only other one is another 2gb microsd. Could that work?

I know this one works. It has been serving my family for a long time and now they dont need it anymore.

What do they look like?

bootmii\armboot.bin
bootmii\ppcboot.elf
bootmii\bootmii.ini

The files can be found on the root of your SD card.

The black screen may be a cause of you using a PAL TV as I have had the same issue as you. In the "bootmii.ini" file, the video mode is set to NTSC by default. Try changing that to PAL50 or PAL60 and then launch BootMii again.

Example:

# BootMii config file

# Video mode, possible settings:
# NTSC, PAL50, PAL60, PROGRESSIVE
VIDEO=PAL60

# Autoboot, possible settings:
# SYSMENU, HBC
#AUTOBOOT=SYSMENU

Got a whole new problem. Computer does not want to read the card. I will try something. If it does not work, i will reply. No need to reply now

Do you get a message saying that the SD card got corrupted or doesn't it show up?

Yes, but it works on the Wii. Did it change the file system?

Open up the "Device Manager" to see if your SD card reader is working, alternatively use "Disk Manager" to find the SD card partition.

Not likely by itself.

Do you have a backup of your SD card's contents on your PC?

If so, you can test it against logic damages (faulty sectors or IO issues -not being read or being unable to write content on it-).

For that matter after you have a backup of its contents, try using H2testw software from heise[DOT]de site, here's a direct link as the site is in German:

RAW. Maybe you lost the partition due to its damage (corruption).

RAW indicates that the partition must be corrupted.

Was there anything important on the card (NAND backup)? You can try to restore the partition. (Only for that you have to stop pocking with it. Otherwise, the remains of the information will be lost forever.)
Or if not, then test the card with H2TestW v1.4, format it normally with SD Memory Card Formatter, and start writing everything down on it all over again.

Also. Cards don't last forever, they wear out over time.

Nothing important. Thousands of apps that are from Wiibrew or the OSC. So, i just say goodbye to the old files, format it and start over?

Test it first. Maybe failure was due to the fact that the card is physically dying.
