Wondering on buying a flash cart for my GBA SP...

Ever since I started with Emulators and roms, I have noticed that it was possible to get GBA roms on a cart so that it was possible to play it on a real GBA..

well, now I am wondering on witch one I should get... :yaysp:

since I am a music addict, I want to have at least 2 GB of space on it...
and it has to be able to use it with my ds :yayds:

so.. anyone can help?
was thinking of getting either a M3 MiniSD or a EZ flash 4 IV ( if I understood it right it took SD card to 2 GB space...)

tnx for all the help I can get :)

The EZ4 is good, supports up to 2 Gigabytes in a MiniSD card, I use a MicroSD in a MiniSD adapter.
But the GBA is terrible for music, might wanna look elsewhere for that.

edit: I thought about it and I guess I should elaborate.
Though, it's hardly needed.
Protip : The GBASP has no headphone jack.

CRAP -.-
but it tough that it was possible to buy a "converter" that could be used in the "power" port, so that I can hook up a headphones...

so is the EZ Flash IV easy to use? no "bugs" that we know off?

there is such a adapter, but the GBA's soundchip is just a piece of crap for MP3s...if you really want to use your GBA as MP3player you should by Nintendo's Mp3player cartridge...it has a soundchip on it, so Mp3s sound quite good...

as for the flashcard: If you are a Pokemon fan get the M3 Perfect MiniSD because of its real time clock

OLD but still working great EZ FLASH III DEV kit (comes with the dev kit programmer hardware and a GBA card) you can get these in various sizes 1gbit 2gbit right upto 8gbit I have a 1gbit and a 2gbit the 1gbit can fit about 20 - 30 roms on the NAND side of the card and 1 extra on the bigger NOR side of the card for bigger roms such as the gba videos etc

had these cards for a good couple of years and they are still going strong :)

sure not as high tec as the EZ IV cards that surpassed it but they get my vote for a good gba card :)

the use of mem cards maby of more appeal to you tho as they are interchangable ...

the plus side of owning a dev kit with card reader is that you can dump originals with it along with their save games ;)

I asked the same question and got told the m3 perfect mini sd but it has a big price tag of 80$ from RHS but it can play mini sdhc. GBAtemp have a review here

okey...so what is the difference between the M3 Perfect MiniSD and M3 Perfect Pro MiniSD ?

Zerotance, you said that the M3 Perfect MiniSD supported SDHC, but I tought that SDHC was only for micro SD cards.... and sorry to say but the review was kinda, "empty".. sure it explained good, but i need images... showing how the start menu is and such...

and another stupid question, is there a mp3 player homebrew for GBA ?
or is it just the DS that will have that lovely abillity to play mp3`s ??

Nintendo's Mp3player cartridge
WTF? O.o

I'd use lemuroid more often if games didnt look blurry even with the "sharp" filter on

I honestly forgot GBAtemp has ads

Teraflops are not necessarily indicative of real world performance, especially when compared across different architectures. The Switch 2 will also be smaller/lighter than the Steam Deck so it's performance has to fit inside a much smaller thermal and power envelope. Using a 120hz VRR panel means 40 fps locks can be an option in handheld mode, which will be a noticeable upgrade over the current 30 fps standard on Switch 1. Games could also go uncapped and leverage VRR to keep things smooth.

Call me a filthy casual but I really don't notice the difference between the last few generations of consoles, and pushing specs just for the sake of bragging rights is really pointless.

With a bit of emulation upscale magic, I'm OK playing old games lol

I still don't see the difference between PS4 and PS5 other than the loading times

Yea I think the HDR and 60fps+ have been the biggest noticeable improvements, along with faster load times/ ssd hd.

Playing the devils advocate, o nstema deck I drop the FPS on most games to 30 due power conservation and tbh I see little to none difference to 60fps. I'd say the difference is in what one wants to believe

I mostly play shooter games and after playing 120fps (on 120hz tv) most of the time, 60fps otherwise, its hard going back to 30fps, it feels like its in slow motion or screen stuttering.

huh I can't tell the difference between 30 and 144 fps and I play with both '-'

Steamdeck only 60hz, so 60fps max, but yea its whatever we get comfortable with.

Cant believe TBS canceled American Dad. Luckily Fox signed a multi year deal to bring it back.

It was probably planned out already since fox is where it originally came from
