Well, the day has finally arrived, now my course has started and i am back to a trainee at Sembawang Camp, hopefully nothing much has changed.

--Monday--
-------------
Well, it's the first day and already i am finding myself asking what happened to my old STC camp? Seems like while i was away, someone let loose alot of mad dogs... All they did on the first day was just keep on barking new rules..
In the afternoon, we had our first lesson, it was on a topic called LIVE which stands for
L - Leadership & Learning
I - Identity & Image
V - Values
E - Experience (positive)
Basically, it just a talk on how we as supervisor should carry ourselves and show a positive image, something to that effect and how there are different type of leaders, even if you are a passive person like me, it's still counted.
Then, there was another lesson on concept map which is pretty much a slightly upgraded mindmap i guess??
--------------
--Tuesday--
--------------
Today lesson starts off in the morning with a talk on Personal Visioning. We had to come up with a 5 year plan in which where do we see ourselves? Then there was a story which goes something like this.
We were then asked to rank 1 - 5 to the characters based on their values and how we feel about them. 1 for the best and 5 for the worst.
The lesson that we drew from this was that all of us have different values so, we gave different score to the characters.
-
In the afternoon, we were given a talk by another lecturer on Military Law and pretty much a quick runthrough on what we can do and what we cant do with our future new powers
-----------------
--Wednesday--
-----------------
Today, we were given another lecture based on procedures on issuing and receiving items. It's pretty dry though and arghh, just to lend someone something in the army, there are so many steps that we need to do..
Then, there's another lecture on maintancing our storeroom and safety issues
After that in the afternoon, yet another lecture on storeroom inspection.
--------------
--Thursday-
--------------
Today, we went through more lectures.
One was on destruction procedure for items, what are the things that we need to go through before we can properly destroy anything..
Then, we learn about the structure of our unit, whos' under what and etc.
Next, we have a brief overview for supply/repair procedures.
Another lecture on logistic terminology was given, damn, they even have a unit for cake.. wtf?
Then, another lecture on the procedures on loan and issue was given as well
-----------
--Friday--
----------
Today was pretty quick since it's new year eve so we have a halfday today.
There was a few lectures today, basically on the preservation of stores, packing of them, what are cushioning materials and finally a lecture on the monthly inspection, what do we need to prepared?
-------------------------------
That was it, 1st week of my course and it involved lectures. Next week would be full of lectures as well since our course is 11 weeks long.
4 week of lecture, 4 week of practical, 3 weeks of on the job training. I guess the only thing that i am not looking forward to is that our lessons are gonna be extra long all the way till 10pm...
