For at least a month now, my 3DS's outer cameras were not functioning correctly, either showing corrupted images or complete black on the left side, or apps that used the cameras would freeze up. Last night, for some reason, the cameras began to function properly again. Here I was thinking I should send in my 3DS to Nintendo for repairs, but turned out that waiting seemed to allow it to repair itself. Just odd.
The only thing I can think of that would explain this is that about a week ago, I stopped using the charge cradle that came with the Nyko PP+ and have since charged my 3DS via cable into the power port. That night as it was charging that way, I opened it up from sleep mode, but the screens were completely blank. I did a hard reset, and my 3DS turned on normally. That hard reset itself wouldn't explain the fix because I've had to do it before when the apps using the cameras would freeze up, and it didn't fix the problem back then.
I may still have to send in my 3DS for repairs because the gyrometer is still out of wack a little. In SM3DL, when using the binoculars, it forces the view to lean to the left for a second slowly
