I've come to the realization that this summer is going to be boring as all hell. Mainly because my friends seem to never want to do anything. I'll ask if they want to go swimming...No, maybe tomorrow (And that never happens). I'll ask if they want to play Xbox...No, I'm too tired (And then they end up going on a few hours later. >_>). And it just goes on. The summer is really just starting, as this is the first full week of summer (For us that is), so who knows.
Sunday needs to hurry up and come already. I'm excited for OoT3D, and I already have my pre-order payed off and everything. I'm going to try to make it last and enjoy it as much as I can, so I don't just rush through and beat it super fast. The game looks amazing from the trailers, and I'm hoping it's not changed TOO much from the original.
I've sort of been getting into Minecraft again. I never really stopped playing it completely, but I took breaks here and there to play Xbox, or work on my Zelda game (Which I'll get to later in the blog). I've been thinking about getting a small server for me and 2 friends, or just hosting it on my mom's computer (Which isn't really a good idea, as the wireless dongle on her PC is screwy, and I don't want to risk it just going out while playing and whatnot). I have a map set up that I plan on using for it when/if I go through with it. In the spawn, there's an inn which looks over a lake, surrounded by giant pine trees (Generated with this one program) and mountains. I'm planning on having it so my friends and I each go off on our own path, outside of the forest, and build around our areas. The spawn will serve as a midway point, or hub, or whatever you want to call it. Anyway, enough Minecraft talk.
My Zelda game hasn't really been worked on much recently. All I've really done since April was fix some bugs and edit some sprites. I keep getting a creative block when I work on it for some reason. Part of me thinks it's laziness and not wanting to go find resources/take time to map out areas/create stuff for those areas. I have roughly 14 areas in the overworld left to map out, and a lot more for dungeons, houses/buildings, etc...Oh well, maybe I'll stop being lazy and work on it a lot like I used to. :/
As mentioned in my last blog which no one posted in, I'm supposed to be getting about $200 sometime next week for helping my mom clean 2 houses last weekend. I haven't decided on exactly what I want to get, but I was thinking about either an HD PVR (For my 360, Wii, and in the future, Wii U), Kinect (There were quite a few good looking games shown at E3, Minecraft obviously being one of them.
), or games. I was thinking about getting RDR again, and getting the DLC with it. I never beat the story completely (I was a little less than half-way done with it), so I figured now would be a good chance to. There's also Resident Evil: The Mercenaries, which, now that I think about it, I really want. I loved Mercenaries on RE4, and this one seems to have the stages from RE4 and a few others, so I definitely think it's worth it.
Well, that's all for this blog. For those who don't/didn't want to read it all:
tl;dr - Summer is boring so far, can't wait for OoT3D, been playing lots of Minecraft and might set up a private server for a few friends and myself, my Zelda game has been on a never-ending hiatus, I'm getting $200 soon and want to get either an HD PVR, Kinect, or games (Those being Red Dead Redemption, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries, or others).
