i know no one will read this but i just thought i'd share
So, either a year or two ago, i was pretty much always on PSN, once i got home from school, i'd start it up my ps3, listen to that beautiful orchestra welcome me in, and i'd boot up LittleBigPlanet and play for hours. I played with a few online friends, and we started a clan, however the leader kind of sucked, and he eventually gave up and the rest of up were just friends again. That is until we started up a new clan, and we formed a sort of collaborative leadership with 4 of us leading. To make a long story short, now i barely play at all, and the clan as somewhat expanding while not really being cohesive at all, and now it feels like total shit just not being there, when i'm basically the co-leader. So the only real leader who's active any more keeps on telling the clan that i'll come back and be as active as I was before, but I just don't get that same joy out of creating levels anymore. I told him I'd return to LBP (actually LBP 2 now) once school was out, and it went out last friday, and i still have yet to even turn on my PS3. It just feels like sh** knowing that your friends are disappointed but not being able to get yourself to do something because it isn't fun anymore.
Coupled with that the podcast is taking a much more serious turn, I don't really like it, it started as just wanting to do a podcast with the news every week for fun but now it's kind of becoming more of a chore trying to get everything working together. And I've had to tell a certain friend that he can't be on, and i'm not really sure whether he's actually ticked off, or he actually "didn't want to be on" because of his new job. Anyways i don't really like the turn to a more serious podcast but hopefully i'll get accustomed to the change and it will become fun again.
So far the only thing getting me through this summer so far (it's only been 3 freakin' days) is my friend who moved after the 5th grade, i finally got him to buy L4D2 on his Mac (curse those anti-gaming machines) so we can play together. And so I'm just gonna go escape and play some with him right now.
