Since this site is a gaming community, I will be choosing my topics wisely to fit the narrative of what is allowed on here.
What counts as accessibility for people with learning disabilities?
For me, its mostly these features:
1.The existence of "press A/X to continue! " whenever your character is talking to the NPC.
2. Voice overs
3. Text
4. checkpoints
5. Having the option to be able to revisit the last level you recently completed so you can master it properly.
6. [I'm not sure if this next one is positive.] being able to see my character. 1st person games are really awkward for me. : /
7. Bright vibrant colors that don't appear blurry/washed out on different consoles. [I wasn't able to fully enjoy the undocked version of Crash Bandicoot N. Sanity for NS.]
8. The potential to go back and access old save files after making a hugeeee mistake.
Downsides:
1. inventory [I often clutter mine with unnecessary shit]
2. jumping into battles without a plan.
3. forgetting what to do if you aren't reminded by the NPCs available within range.
4. misinterpretation what the NPC is expecting of you.
5. impulse buys
6. frustration that you can't get the hang of something before moving on to the next part of the game.
I guess that's it.
There's probably more information I may have left out from what I'm trying to say.
