Suggest me some games...

So lately, I've found myself just playing the same games over and over and over, and it's getting dull now. I'm looking for some good DS, Wii, PC, or Retro games (NES, SNES, N64, etc.) to play.

Genres I like are:

Action/Adventure (Zelda for instance)

Puzzle (Creative puzzle games, not endless crossword puzzles, word searches, etc.)

Platform (Mario, Donkey Kong, etc. My favorite genre)

ARPG (I don't like traditional RPGs or JRPGs)

Simulation/Sandbox (Like Minecraft, Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon, etc. I HATE the Sims though)

Racing/Driving (I prefer non-realistic racing games, like Mario Kart)

Non-arcade-style fighters (Like Super Smash Bros. I don't like games like Street Fighter, DoA, etc.)

Shooters (Traditional, like side scrolling, and modern, like FPSes, TDSes, etc.)

So basically any DS (Not DSi or 3DS), Wii, PC, or retro game that fits any of those genres, please feel free to suggest them. And yes, these are just systems I can pirate for. :P

Action/Adventure: Both Zelda games (ST and PH)
Puzzle: Professor Layton 1, 2 and 3 (My favorite game of all games I've ever played. Absolutely wonderful)
Platform: NSMB DS, Kirby Canvas Curse

I've played both DS Zelda games already, although I never finished them. Might do that.
I've never played any of the Layton games, but I hear good things about them, so I might try them out.
Beat both of those. :P

Terraria[/quote]
Beat Portal 1 before, never got to play 2 yet. So I might download it.
I bought Terraria already. Don't really like it as much as Minecraft.

Thanks for the suggestions. Keep 'em coming. :P

If you can be bothered to play a GBA game, I suggest you try either of the 2 Summon Night games [though you're prob better off with the second one]. It's an ARPG where you choose [and make] your weapon and use that to fight various enemies [some of them just like you; I forgot what they were called, pardon me] in battle. Your weapon [and your opponent's weapon if he/she has one] can break. You also have this guardian spirit thingy that allows you to use different spells and whatnot.

Action/Adventure: Zelda:Twilight Princess,Wind Waker,Link's Awakening DX

Puzzle:Henry Hatsworth,Professor Layton

Platform:Castlevania,Monster Tale,NSMB Wii/DS,DKCR,Kirby's Epic Yarn

ARPG: Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals

Non-arcade-style fighters: TMNT:Smash-Up

Shooters:Metroid,Dementium,Conduit,COD,Contra Rebirth

If you like on-rail shooters try HoTD,and the RE chronicles

DS : PLANT v.s Zombies

N64 : Banjo & Kazooie, Turok, Donkey kong 64

Snes : Earthworm Jim
Super Mario All-Stars
Kirby Super Star
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time (Turtle Power lol lame)
Mega Man 7
Street Fighter II: Turbo
Super Mario World
Final Fantasy III
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (Fun love this game did they make a remake yet)
Donkey Kong Country

I've played all of those Zelda games. I probably should've mentioned no Zelda games, as I've played pretty much all of them (And beat most of them). I still need to beat NSMB Wii, DKC: R, and Kirby's Epic Yarn, so I'll probably play those today.

I think I've got enough suggestions. Thanks to those who listed some! I should be busy with all these games today. :P

Whoa whoa whoa, never played them but *didn't* finish them? :P
My guess is that you just haven't played in a while. In my opinion, delete your saves and start over so you don't forget some events in the story, and so you can have a fresh start. ;)
And wow, you have NO IDEA what you're missing out on. Layton is.. indescribable, I guess. :P You might not find the first one to be a blast, though I'd still suggest you play it to know the beginning of the story. Part 2 and 3 will blow your mind. nuff said.

Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland!
Try it and be amazed, it's more than a Zelda spin-off.
I've been playing it since yesterday.
:yaynds:

About all I can suggest.

Action/Adventure: Magicka, Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Puzzle: Professor Layton, Portal 2, RUSH, Toki-Tori

Platform: NSMBW, DK CR, Metroid (older ones), Megaman

Simulation/Sandbox: Garry's Mod, Rollercoaster Tycoon 3

Shooters: Half life series, Metroid, Crysis 2 (just cause it's newish), CoD, Just Cause 2

edit: damn, ninja'd on most of them

For a platformer I've recently been playing Alice: Madness Returns and I'm loving it. Maybe not the best platformer game but the art style is excellent and it just kinda brings you back to the days of your pretty standard platformer romps. Also includes the original game for the Xbox 360/PS3 versions so it's a win-win.
