I made a wiiu section at my site for my software WiiU related. I started out on a small library which can read in png files with their filename and then display them.
I cannot use newlib's filehandle (FILE * in C) system so I need to have a special purpose program for that. I looked into the Loadiine source code and found filesystem operations e.g. a FSReadFile function which loads a file into a void *buffer.
Now I probably need to pass this to a png buffer or something, I have a png encoder finished which uses the libpng for the WiiU's processor, a powerpc, it can be used for Wii but you need to extract it yourself from the code, I got to version 0.1.4 and put all that in my wiiu section on my site : http://erana.yellowcouch.org/wiiu/ is where the source code is. The library is named libpngimage-wiiu. SFY.
