That should say

ISP: America Online.

ISP: Lol dial-up

No wonder it takes like 5 minutes just to load the main page. (GBAtemp.net)

Not trying to jack your thread War but need to ask Law something, sorry!

You on AOL as well? My speeds have been a 1/4 of what they should be the last couple of days, you having similar problems?

Yeah, except it's been happening for a lot longer than a couple of days. A few other people I know are having similar issues.

I've never really had a problem with them til this week, plus it's one of the few unlimited download providers left in the UK. We've had a BT Business Broadband line put in as well but I can't access my bleedin newsgroup provider through, it just tells me it can't find the host whenever I try to connect.

dont know what school you go to but at Carson High School we always got atleast

16000+ kb/s download and 6000+ upload

I once tried to measure my school's connection and I got some very interesting results:
Approximately 9000kb/s in download speed, but 80000kb/s in upload speed :wtf:

I'm actually shocked with my speed considering it's a low-tier cable speed. Guess I'm still used to DSL.

My school's bandwidth is excessively throttled and filtered, leading to shitty ping times and download speeds. However, using the DMZ network leads to ungodly speeds, thanks to the fact the have a dedicated fibre-optic line direct to the nearest exchange.
