I was posting about all kinds of updates in the Rock Band 3 Tutorial, but since my repo has become more than just for RB3, I decided to give all talk on Rock Band custom songs in general its own thread here on GBAtemp. Check out the new thread.
I want to make sure that anyone (especially mods, who are probably scrutinizing my posts) who find out about my repo should know that in no way do I promote warez. I have not, will not, and can not share warez on GBAtemp, nor do I intend to do it on GitLab or other sites. Because of the sensitivity of illegal content, some sites even refuse to talk about such things, or use alternate wording ("customize" instead of "hack"). Thankfully, GBAtemp makes it clear what to talk about and what not to, so I feel that I can safely link to my software with the appropriate warnings in place about using it on copyrighted material.
I can't stress it enough. I do not promote piracy. I am not sharing copyrighted content. I am against warez. Furthermore, if someone high up on the GBAtemp ladder says it's must be removed, well I'm sorry guys, but it's gotta be removed. That's what I believe. While I do believe that some rules on copyright protection are a bit too strict (I prefer copyleft), I want to respect those who are trying to make an honest buck off of these great games, so they can make better games!
