Just stuff I purchased in the past few days.
Dragon's Dogma:
Paid: $60
Wrote a blog about it already but I'll give much better and thorough impressions when I'm done. I'm at the last mission but I still have sidequests to do.
Oh, and of course the price drops to $50 a week later. Although this game has been so fun that I don't regret paying that extra $10.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning:
Paid: $40
I wasn't thrilled with the demo but I was interested in another open world WRPG to tide me over until I have school again. I'm hoping the full game will entice me more. I would have had it Thursday since I've been purchasing my Amazon stuff over my dad's Amazon Prime account but I accidentally sent it to his apartment in New York City. So now he has to send it down to me.
Mortal Kombat Vita:
Paid: $40
First off, fuck this game. Not the game itself, but here's what it is. I figure "What the hell, I'll pay $40 for it" since I heard good things about it and I've been mindlessly beating on Mortal Kombat without even trying it. So I pay $40. Next day it's on sale for $20 on Gamestop and Amazon. Day after that it's $10 on Gamestop. Seriously, fuck you.
But yeah, I'm eager to try it. I've heard good things about the reboot and the Vita version has gotten some good praise as well. Graphics seemed kinda shitty but apparently there's tons of content and the game runs smooth as a baby's bottom.
EDIT: Oh yeah this was shipped with KoA so it's also "in transit"
The Witcher 2 (Xbox 360):
Paid: $40
I've been very curious about this one since it's been getting amazing reviews and apparently it's one of the best PC-to-Xbox 360 ports around (unlike some other WRPGs COUGH DRAGON AGE SERIES COUGH). Should be getting this by Monday. I'm tempted to buy the first Witcher for the PC but I don't feel like spending $10.
EDIT: Should be here by Monday.
Assorted Magic cards:
There's been some sales at Star City Games so I figured I'd pick up some things while cheap. Got Chandras and Frost Titans for pretty good prices.
Paid: $10
It was on sale on the PSN Store so I figured I'd nab it for my Vita. Played a bit of it on the PSP but kinda lost interest. Won't say the game is OMIGOD AMAZING like everyone says but it's alright if you're in a turn based RPG mode. It was either this or Crimson Gem Saga.

- Chandra Nalaar (LRW) x2: $1/ea. Only own the Firebrand and while she's not a fantastic Planeswalker, she's nice to have. Plus I love her artwork.
- Frost Titan (M11) x2: $1/ea. Already own 2 of them so I wanted to round off my collection. They're usually more game winners for my U/W Control.
- Goblin Arsonist (M12) x4: $.15/ea. I had 8 of them before but I must've given them away or traded them off. I wanted a budget 1-drop for Goblins and I've found Arsonist to be fun to play with. Already have two Goblin Guides and Lackeys are just too expensive.
- Goblin Chieftain (M12) x3: $1/ea. I already own 1 and I felt like rounding off my collection. Ever since Krenko was announced for M13 I've been dying to play with Goblins.
- Krenko's Command (M13) x4: I like it more than Dragon Fodder and it's a nice little token pooper for Goblins.
- Krenko, Mob Boss (M13) x2: Like I mentioned, Krenko has peaked my interest in Goblins and I really want to toy with him.
- Ulvenwald Tracker (AVR) x4: Sounds like a fun removal card that I'm planning to play with in my green ramp. I can pretty much roll over anything with him once I have some Eldrazi out there. Even then, he seems like he'll come in handy.
