My eye is pussy and gross

I have a horrible cold, a sore throat, I am coughing like an old lawnmower, my head is stuffed like a bucket of cold soup, and on top of this all, today my eye started oozing pus and is now all red and itchy.

Judging by your description and your picture of the eye oozing with puss. This is usually because you may of accidentally rubbed some mucus from the nose into or near your eye. Usually this is a common problem for babies who cry, have a runny nose and such. Since you mentioned a cold I suspect that's how it got infected.

I had that problem once. You should be receiving some kind of pills and a eye droplet to clear the puss from the doctor's prescription. It's best not to try opening the eye anymore. Opening your eye will cause the puss to spread and re-fluid near eye.

I'm just guessing since it sounded familiar. I hope you feel better after!

Ummm you probably have Pink Eye...I know because I used to get it like every Christmas as a kid for some strange reason. That looks and sounds like Pink Eye to me. You're going to have to go to a doctor and get some antibiotics. When I was a kid I used to get the bubblegum flavored medicine...best medicine ever :D.
