My 3DS review.

So 2 days ago I got my self a Cosmo black 3ds from best buy along with Samurai Warriors. The reason why I chose this game is that despite the bad reviews it received, it is the only game I can see myself playing. Street Fighter at the Kiosk seemed ok, but not great. Maybe my expectations were too high, but my impression so far has been pretty bad. Although 3d without glasses is pretty cool, it gave me headache after an hour. Of course, I turned the 3d off, but that just seemed like such a waste considering that it is a major part of the system. It's like having the option to turn off the touch screen on a DS... what makes it special anymore? I know that launch titles suck and I have to wait, but the main reason I got it early is to see the potential, and so far what I've seen is that I have to turn the 3d feature off most of the time. If Nintendo spent this time on something that would be a lot cooler, (ie. making a powerful handheld that could do NGC on virtual console) that would be something that I respect a lot more. However, 3ds so far seems like a slightly upgraded DS to me, because I turn the 3d off completely most of the time.

Even Nintendo's most dedicated fangirls will acknowledge that the 3D, while possibly (in their view) the coolest feature in the world, is still completely aesthetic and improves the gameplay in no real way. If anything it "solves" problems that were solved years ago when 3D gaming (like 3D models and environments, not the 3D effect) was conceived.

What fangirls you speak of? For all I know you can be making this up.

Hook on the word denial. I retract that.

And it not like we have not argued this in another thread.

We all would just be going around in circles.

Thread

No not a troll post, I just do not feel like repeating myself.

"Fangirls" I'm guessing was an attempt at humour and an effort to degrade avid Nintendo fans .
A pity in my opinion, if I'm honest, because his ability to stick to an argument and back it up persistently is admirable.
But jumping on the high horse and ridiculing others makes a person look silly in a debate if they're trying to come across as being intelligent, and is also something I'm surprised the admins on this site allow a staff member to get away with. Fair enough if someone's out of line and being disciplined, but in a debate/argument, it really doesn't demonstrate that they're an upstanding member of the community.
