iPlayer

I just got an iPlayer. Play videos extremely well. Also tried the GBA emulator and works well with only a few speed gltiches Ive seen so far. Post here if you have any q's about the iPlayer

EDIT: Some homebrew doesn't work. HALOds doesn't seem to work or quake. Maybe im doing something wrong?

also I think I want an iplayer now just for the video. and if I get a DSi again I can play the one gba game I like that doesn't require a motion sensor.

Music/Media.

Games, as in ROMS? Well only GBA

it supports homebrew, so you can play homebrew games

firmware updates - yes there has been one

Is the support for various video formats as good as they claim? Any problems with any particular codec? How well does it display subtitles (are they readable)? That "for best results use 640*480 or lower" thing, is it true? Have you tried anything over that size? What happens? Does it get choppy, blocky, laggy? Have you encountered any audio/video sync problems?

It works VERY well and its worked with every type of video that i've played with no lag. No subtitles, but in the next firmware update they said that would be availible.

    i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

    Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
