I'm SO pissed right now!

Miiverse, which everyone knows is one of the worst social media attempts in history, is closing tonight (or tomorrow morning, or this afternoon, doesn't matter). Now, I'm not pissed that it is going, I'm pissed at what the admins did to me. Here's the story:

I was in the New Super Luigi U. community, aka Memeverse, and I saw a post from my good friend Plasma. What was strange was that there was a video attached to the post, where it shouldn't be. I had commented saying 'I know one way to do it, but it doesn't work in the NSLU community. That's cool'. Then I get a 2 week ban for a service which will be shut down in a matter of hours. I don't see any offensive/off-topic content in that! I don't even have a record of getting banned. I had gotten banned once for [something I don't remember, but for a fact it didn't violate anything], posting a pic of Captain Toad in the SSB community, and now this. Then I sent a message saying 'I did not violate blah blah', then they 'determined it is in violation of blah blah'. C'mon Nintendo! When you reply to a admin message it does go to a human. I know because the first time I had gotten banned I replied, then they replied first saying it is violating, then immediately after it said I didn't, meaning someone made a mistake and tried to fix it, but for some reason I still wasn't unbanned, and I couldn't reply to the admin anymore either. I honestly feel like paying Arian to unban my account, I know it was a terrible service but I still want to see it go, maybe post my goodbe message, reply to posts saying Miiverse will be saved and blah. I know when I cool off I will realize this did not need to be posted, but whatever. Arian, where are you?!

This is not the first time I talked about hacking on Miiverse, hell I made a discussion on hacking Miiverse, and it was never taken down. I bet I was on Nintendo's watchlist, I have a feeling they did this on purpose, what should I do guys?

Just let it go. As you said, it's closing down today anyway. No point in complaining about a ban that wont affect you in any way in a few hours.

This is why you need multiple consoles with the ability to connect to Miiverse so you can explain what happened to others. I got banned for a lot of things, but this stuff happens. I'm surprised they let some of those role-plays go to the level they do without a ban.

Don't admit you've got a hacked console on Nintendo's servers.
Easy as that.

Oh, and don't trust meme kiddies, pathetic trolls like that like to report people for fun.

An excellent use of the blog system (so few and far between these days..) Just not a good reason to complain.

Just forget about it. It'll be down in a matter of hours anyway. I never personally utilized Miiverse in a posting capacity (Aside from a handful of time just messing around over the years), but I will be sad to see it go for all the unique functions it gave especially in the Miiverse stage of Super Smash, all the postings in Splatoon, and the hints you could leave in Super Mario Maker.

I figure you probably live in a time where you have limited processing power and limited lifetime and to that end may wish to consider what you consume. In games it has been said that the game makes the community, a popular example being DOTA and MOBA type games are built such that having a player on the team that is not or can not pull their weight, especially when coupled with mechanics so obtuse making it hard to learn and not necessarily in a good way, is a serious detriment and thus people seek to avoid them at all costs.

By similar token forums and communities can showcase poor rules which lead to a poor community, and your standards may vary (I question everything, to others the idea that I might question their religion is almost abhorrent to them, if not straight up abhorrent), so learn to recognise those. To that end why get upset about them? Move on, and maybe hone your instincts such that you avoid the problems in the future. Try not to get caught in a bubble though.
