I'm an idiot, oh and Rapidshare is annoying.

So I made an awesome tomahawk kill from accross the map in Black Ops, remembered seeing somewhere that you could up it to the CallofDuty site and then it would up on to your Youtube account, but you see, I had to make an account on the CallofDuty site.

So I tried to make an account, and I see "An error has occurred" Being curious, I tried again, same error, so I tried a different browser, tried again, wrong answer. Assuming it was just technical difficuties, I gave up and looked for something else to do...About a week later, I try again, same thing, so I was just going to do something else when I looked at the url and noticed the site was "callofduty.com". I was putting my birthdate as 17-10-1985...Whereas in American language, that would be 10-17-1985. Tried it that way and, "Thanks for Registering" Oh btw the 1985 is because they don't let under 18's register =(

Just downloaded The Walking Dead comics issues #1 - #10 from Rapidshare, took 40 mins, afterwards I go to download 11-20 and "The next Free-Download can be started in 40 minutes" Rapidshare is a pain in my rear end -_-
Yeah, well that's all folks.

who the hell uses torrent in this day and age, you get dial up speeds and have to wait 30 days to download a single file, waste of time.

as for this topic, rapidshite and fileserve are the worst places to donwload ANYTHING from.

for example, with fileserve you have a huge download and 20 parts you would be there all night in jdownloader entering the captcha for each part, i hate fileserve, filesonic too.

I use torrents :P!
It really isnt that bad. It all depends on your ISP and its speed.
With Sky, I have gotten maximum full speed(20MB all the way), but now I live in this shit area where I get 1.73-2MB maximum.

A good health torrent gives you the maximum speed you can get :).
With my shit net speed, I dont feel like paying for newsproviders anymore.

lol i was just about to say the same. i remeber my brother got caught using torrents and his isp mailed him at his college. never trust torrents, plus i mean the speeds fricken suck, the only good thing about em is sometimes they have releases that are not yet on filesharing sites for a while. mediafire, megaupload, yastorage are good filesharing sites. i haz lifetime premium at megaupload, its worht 150 dollars cuz, its a LIFETIME!!!!

it's all about money, thats why peeps always use fileserve nowadays because they gain money each time someone downloads from their account.

it's not all about your speed, it's about how much the uploader of the torrent wants to upload to you that counts, if they upload at max speed of 100KBs you will download at 100KBs if they upload at 5KBs you download at 5KBs.

Also, more uploaders means that you get a higher speed.

yeah exactly what i meant when i said the good thing about torrents is sometimes they have things that are not on filesharing sites, some rare stuff but usually no one is seeding em anymore.

not always the case, recently i download a torrent it had 100 seeds, and what speeds do i get? 5b not KB b! lolz i looked at the detail of the torrent and no one was seeding at all and anyone who was seeding was seeding very small speeds.

yes, I am aware of that.
With new released and readily available stuff you get max speed cuz a lot of P2P activity.
But for older files thats not the case.

In any way, I am fine with torrent because my speed sucks either way lol.

because fileserve & other sites give the uploader money based on the amount of people the uploader brings to the site to view ads

these other services don't give the uploader the same amount of money if anything at all

the whole warez scene is paid for by fileserve, rapidshare, etc.

Think of the download speed you'd have if only one person was seeding. ;)
Just gonna say, with free accounts on places like Mediafire, speeds are capped at 250KB/s for downloads. It may display over, but you can just watch the speed of the download as it progresses and see that isn't the case. Whenever I'm getting about 320 KB/s (yay shitty America internet), I still only get 1MB every four seconds consistently throughout the download.

Premium is the best way to go with services like that when you have a high download speed, as premium removes download caps completely, allowing your speeds to go untamed.
I just downloaded something off Mediafire at around 440-500KB/s with the use of a download manager/accelerator.
