I was scared sh*tless...

Today I started working at security again. My duty was to patrol the service station of the Toronto Transit Commission. (TTC) The shift is from 6pm to 6am. I took the job thinking it was easy, buy man was I wrong... First of all, the place is about the size of 6 football fields... it was gigantic, and consisted of 2 levels. I was the ONLY one there during the night. I am supposed to sit in a HUGE "office" until every hour to do an inspection of the entire building. There were gas nozzles hanging down from the the tall ass ceiling everywhere. I walk around and because the place is actually pretty empty, it echos very loudly... I sit in an office but I look around nervously for anything paranormal for about every 20 seconds. Even the smallest noises made me jump such as the fridge starting again. Even when I patrol, I get scared and around to see if there is a hot chick ready to rape me...(sarcasm)
I have to do this again tonight and tomorrow and the day after...
This job fucks the mind...

Man... I am a wuss...

Fellow Security Guards Unite!
Hey Westside I've been a security officer/guard for the last 3 years or so and I love my job lol
I do the same hours too, 6-6, nights and days and all I do is chill on the interwebs, watch movies and play DS/360!
Don't be scared, take your DS ROFL! portable gaming devices!!!

Make sure you take a zombie/horror shooter and then play a whole bunch before you take your hourly patrol. This way you can conquer your fear, or the person who relieves you will find you crying on the floor. Are you armed with anything?

You're probably there now.
Do what I do when I get scared.
I play the Sesame Street song on my head.

When you get sick of the job just go out with a bang by hosting a giant rave up in there.
Sounds like fun to me. and to make the job quicker I would skateboard down the halls if they are that large.

It is a goverment building.....so I don't think that would be a good idea...

 Everyone with their strange suggestions... especially PBC and Lazycus... :wtf:

Lol, Thug, you bring a 360 to work??? :wtf:

A handcuff and baton... I feel naked not having an m16a2 assault rifle or a rocket propelled grenade launcher. :(

Westside, you know the problem with security guards is when they have made everything a rutine. If you're used to your job then u aren't as fast to react. It's probably good your as tense as you are, you're performing better as that which you've been hired for.

But yeah doing the work with an extra person would certainly make life easier for you. Require of your boss an extra person in order to do your work more efficient. Come up with some good reasons why there should be an extra personell.

Dress like a ninja, don't ask yourself why, just do it, you'll see before you know it the shadows will be you favorite place

Play F.E.A.R when you're down there. lol jokin'. Make some calls to friends while you're on work. I always talk on the phone at night anyways. Are you allowed to carry more weapons with you? It might not be much, but you can try carrying a blade with your or something. A psx emulator with psx iso's would be good to kill some time on your laptop.

And $10 is minimum weigh? I thought it's like $8.

I do have a gigantic combat knife that's probably illegal to carry around. Also the minimum is $8.75, however $10 is only $1.25 more, not much...

Let's throw you in a dead silent Service Station the size of two football fields for the night shift, with not a single person around 1km radius and see if you aren't scared.

Westside, can you read Arabic? I don't know how to write this other than Arabic, sorry.

سم بالله دائماً وخذ معك قرآن وإن شاء الله ربي يحميك من كل شر :)

Not really, I can only write my name and recognize a few characters. My language is Uzbek, it has a few Arabic words, but it's MOSTLY Persian (Farsi) and Turkish. The work for "heart" in Uzbek is "Qalb", and that's how we write it, but 200 years ago we used Arabic writing, until Russians took over my country, and then they changed our letter in to Russian. After we seperated, we started to use Latin alphabet because it is easier.

Download all the seasons of Pokémon and watch them on your laptop.
