As you can see it's pretty fast-paced, it's made to be an e-sport (and they hold competitions with cash prizes a lot, mostly in Europe). it's got walljumping, dashing, grinding on rails, using kickback from weapons, all sorts of tricks to get up to speed and move around quickly.

I used to hate on PC gaming too, cause my computer couldn't run anything.

That bias is slowly breaking though, as I find myself spending more and more time on my new computer playing games. I knew I was going to buy Starcraft 2, always planned to. Then I got Portal, considering getting Team Fortress 2-

I don't think I'm going to be too much of a PC gamer, but not so sure anymore.
Otherwise, I still play Wii regularly- especially emulators.

I used to always be a console person too, and always thought I would be, now almost all of my playing is on PC. I blame steam and it's incredible sales

If only my PC would run better games. If only.

I'd only need consoles for nintendo and the HD exclusives.

Stole my exact post.

I always wanted to game on PC but my computers couldn't handle it.

Then I built my first desktop almost a year ago.
Now it's costing me more money than I want it to, but it's my fault.

I've got a Nvidia Geforce 9800GTX+. I want to upgrade to a $230 GTX 460!
My 9800 only has trouble playing... 3 games I think? It's a pretty rad card.


BUT DARNIT I WANT TO UPGRADE because I fell into the cuuuurse.
My parts are awesome. I... Just want to waste money on upgrading. I know it'll take darn'd near 10 years for the 460 to go obsolete. Probably longer.

And after that, I'll HAVE to go toward a core i7... Though I'll never in my life need all that processing power.

And then, Durr. Gotta upgrade to like, 16GB of ram. Yes, I know I'll never need more than 4GB, but 16 is just a big number!

I play PC games (Mostly Portal) more than I used to. I blame Steam and how easy it is to pirate with it.

I had dual 7600s in my desktop and it is able to run current-gen games at reasonable quality.
