How long to wait until reporting ebay fraud?

I had luck with a fraud auction before, I bought a cymbal from some guy. He kept sending me messages saying "I'll send it out Thursday" or "I'll send it out next week, I promise"

I got fed up, opened a claim with PayPal, he never responded to it, I waited the seven days and got all my money back.

Some sellers simply don't send emails. I'd wait until Wednesday, and if you don't receive an email, contact ebay or paypal (either one since ebay owns paypal).

That's good to hear. I looked at his one other sell, a paintball gun, and something looks fishy.

The winning and last few bids, if you click on their profiles they all have high percentage bids with that seller, with no or only a few bids elsewhere. Could be he's making fake accounts to make bids or something? It only shows a 30 day bid history, so it's not conclusive, just fishy.

Paypal says you have 45 days to make a claim, so I'll give it a little time. I'm just pissed, I usually read feedback and don't buy things from sellers with such a low rating.

true, but I usually at least get this 'this item has been shipped with paypal shipping' email, usually within a day.

Well. I think I've had an even weirder experience XD I bought something from this guy. I sent him emails and eventually he stopped responding. I paid for insureance and felt all pissed he was just ignoring my emails. The item came in the end, Ended up being a pirated copy, Then, He finally emails me because I say I got my item, "This is how you install it" I got my item for the $40 I paid for it, but I mean he just ignored my emails, I also blame the postman we where on our 2nd slip and we never got a 1st so, kinda his fault to, XD

Update: It's been marked as 'Shipped' through eBay. Who knows, maybe he just doesn't check his email...seems kinda stupid though, how hard is it to say 'Got the money sending it monday'.

Let's hope it comes in one piece, I could see this dude sending the psp in an envelope.

Haha, its OK. I get that way too, when you spend a great amount of money on something, you are always worried if its going to come in good condition.

I know I was freaking out when I got my Alcest - Le Secret CD, It was $60 and I was like "This shit better not be scratched to shit" or "This asshole best not just send it in a flimsy package (which he did XD)" It was fine though
