Have you ever

Stuck your thumb up your ass?

Super hard-core joking, but really, have you ever thought of what it's like to be in someone's shoes? What if you worked on a project ceaselessly for months and you were praised at one point, then, everywhere you looked, people started calling your work, 'garbage' just because?

I'm not trying to start an inferno or publicly attack anyone, but I'd be pissed if I created something legitimately good and took a break to pursue other goals in my life, then came back to a mountain of posts describing my work as, 'trash' when it works as intended.

It almost seems childish to openly bash something, rather than state facts and reasons as to why your suggestion should be supported. Respect is a nice thing.

I don't want to set the world on fire, I just want to start respect in thread posts. In my blog, I have but one desire and that one is: think how you'd feel and what actions would you take when you're unfairly criticised, with no outward expression?

@BlueFox gui
Did you make a remix dab dance? I recommend a dab-pose, then switch arms, followed by skipping, freezing in place and tben skipping backwards in a two-step fashion.

Now you're living the 'We are number one' lifestyle.

I hate people that just write off something without explaining why or what have you.
I'mma make an example that'll probably attract some idiots: When some fuckhead just comes up and says "Undertale is cancer for x reason". Now, I'd understand if you din't like the game, everyone's got its tastes, but you can't say that "Undertale is furry sjw shite" BS, 'cause it's a fantastic game, very well crafted and made with love and passion. I'd understand if it was total garbage like Big Rigs or Ride to Hell: Retribution, but it ain't, so unless you give me a good reason why you din't like the game, you can throw yourself in Mordor's volcano, thank you. And this is not just for Undertale, but also other good games that get this treatment.
And before you say it, I know most of those idiot are trolls, but I know that out there, somewhere, there is a mouthbreather that actually belives that, and I will find it. And beat some sense into him/her.
And since I'm talking about things that pisses me off, I HATE when people that, when they see "weird" or "different stuff", they say "of course it weird shit, the author's autistic" or something like that. As someone who is a bit autistic, it makes me mad. Who the fuck do you think you are to even think that, you piece of shit?! I've met people with severe autism that are much smarter that you, you fucktard. Ugh.

Sorry about the wall of text. Kinda lost control there, eh. I'mma end with this:

I guess you could view it like that, but have you broke down what makes something 'fun' to you? I recently played ZombiiU and.....I guess it isn't that bad. The fun I derived from it was interacting with the environment - seeing if the developers got lazy with lighting, sound effects, controls, etc,. I found it to be amusing when the player swings a cricket bat in a primal fury, knowing someone actually had to voice that scream. I found it hilarious a dead guy hanging from a noose wailed when he was hit even though nothing about how he would be able to vocalize a note made sense (of course that was the vehicle the dev team used to put the idea of corpse-looting into your mind to obtain items to progress the story, but the violent crooning....) I went deeper to see if all the corpses heads explode, regardless of where they were hit and found that amusing.
So, maybe a game Big Rigs might be better if you try to crash on purpose or drive in reverse? Maybe it's fun when you use a different controller? Maybe it's fun to try blowing the horn to the song 'Low Rider' while you try to glitch the game?

Sometimes the definition of 'different' is different, but that's why people need to agree on an operative definition before using a vague word that can be easily misconstrued. It happens.

I guess I have been a villain? I'm not a hero. I am a soothsayer suffering from acute Savant syndrome.

@RustInPeace
I'm a little pissed I can't accompany this with a clip from South Park where Randy gets an old-fashioned from Sharon.

I understand your point, there is fun to be found in broken games. What I was trying to say (I'm not good with words, dang) it's that I hate when someone just say things like "this is a bad game/movie/comic/whatever because it's a bad game/movie/comic/whatever". You either explain why you din't like it, like, you don't like the characters? The music? The art style? or you can just fuck off. I guess I'm repeating myself. Heh.
What makes me something fun? It's when I have a good time with a game/movie/comic. Getting lost in that world, interacting with the cast of characters, enjoying the music, the scenery and whatnot. But also, like you said, all the little details that the developers put in, but also trying to figure out how events play out, since I'm trying to become a developer myself. I don't just play the game, I also try to understand how it was made, so that it may help me when I'll actually try to make a game. In the future.

And lastly, that "Villain" joke was a reference to a Lazy Town meme. Check it out if you haven't, it's actually a nice meme for a change.
