I know most of you hate GameStop employees, and how corrupt they can be, but I really need a job (I'm never getting a job in the food business again), and GameStop is the best thing I can find. I love video games, and I have a lot of knowledge about video games in general, so that helps.
Anyway, I have a resume and a cover letter (I know, it's not the most professional job, but it makes myself look good as a future worker), and they are formatted correctly, have no spelling/grammar errors, and contain enough information to give the manager a general idea of me, how I work, and what I'm currently doing, as well as what I've previously done (Educationally, voluntarily, etc.).
An employee at the closest GameStop to my house (I'm not applying there) gave me advice, which was to start a conversation about something related to video games, and then transition to employment opportunities. I don't know if I should do this or not, which is why I posted here (Well, I posted to share my thoughts as well, but still...). I'd appreciate it if you could vote in the poll above. Thanks for reading, and I'm hoping to get hired.
