You need to be 19+ to drink just to tell you. It's not 18. I qualify for that. :)

That would be up to you. The location for this meet up is a bit to far for me to want to go. Have fun if you people get everything together.

I'll make an appearance, unless of course, you don't want me there.

lol we couuuuld do that. Nah, just playing. But you gotta have a schedule. What's the day gonna be like. Its winter here.. so outdoor would be cold.

Something indoor would be nice. Indoor paintball? Beach volleyball? And then maybe followed up by a dinner or something. I don't have many suggestions. I love sports though. Toronto is quite boring to be honest.

Edit: I crave korean bbq or sushi. I love all you can eat places. So, that cold be a suggestion.

It's true. All we've got is wonderland. There's other things too like the activities I mentioned, but that can be practically anywhere too. We don't have aquariums. I'd love to go to one if Tdot has one. But I've pretty much tried everything.. so yeah. Or at least tried everything I'm interested in.

There's 2 around that area. 2 left at least. I'm a big sushi fan, and none of them are $12 a person unless you eat at lunch. But that excludes sashimi which I eat a lot of. If you're looking at dinner, it's at least $19 a person. That's excluding tips and tax. It'll come around $22/23 in the end per person. There's a korean bbq at midland and finch which is pretty good in my opinion. Around $15 a person at dinner. There's more sushi places down Kennedy line. But that's Markham area where TTC can't reach.

Wonderland isn't even in Toronto. And Winter is always boring.
The main reason I love Toronto is because of the phoood.
It's everywhere.
Fuck yes, Taste of the Kingsway/Danforth.'

  • D @ DemiV:
that's phil, though. the guy is always targeting small hands,
    can't go within 500ft of a school.
  • _Ruri_ @ _Ruri_:
@SylverReZ, The 2ds is definitely the one people find the most comfortable lol. People with big hands love it and it looks like people with smaller hands love it too. I find holding the normal DS/3DS consoles more comfortable and I prefer their build quality. The 2DS looks smaller when you hold it because you hold onto the whole console, not just the bottom, but it's actually the right size. The problem I have with it though is that the screen is a bit too small and holding the entire console while looking at a just few small screens makes it a bit less practical imho.
    +1
  • _Ruri_ @ _Ruri_:
@DemiV, Huh, he definitely made a good job, it's the perfect controller to hold for my hands. A bit on the heavier side though.
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
Wouldn't a ps controller be more comfortable for small hands
  • _Ruri_ @ _Ruri_:
@K3Nv3, Hmm, it would be but the thumb stick is way too far and I have to stretch my finger to reach it and it's a bit uncomfortable
  • _Ruri_ @ _Ruri_:
Xbox stick is in the perfect location though and this basically sold be the entire controller
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
Compared to the og Duke controller
  • _Ruri_ @ _Ruri_:
Wait I was talking about modern controllers lol, never tried the og but I'm curious to see how big it'd be in my hands lol
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
Even DS4 shouldn't be that far apart
  • _Ruri_ @ _Ruri_:
Original PS controller (both with or without sticks) is absolute perfection
  • _Ruri_ @ _Ruri_:
I don't think I'll ever find a more perfect controller to hold
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
    DS3 triggers were garbage
  • _Ruri_ @ _Ruri_:
    Never had a PS3
  • _Ruri_ @ _Ruri_:
Doesn't look much different from the PS2 controller at least in pictures
  • _Ruri_ @ _Ruri_:
    Aside from a few buttons
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
They had a spring back function that always felt too slippery
    +1
  • D @ DemiV:
yeah it was a pretty straight forward iteration on the dualshock 1/2 compared to 4 and the dualsense.
  • D @ DemiV:
aside from the sixaxis motion and aforementioned queer triggers.
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
Nintendo is discontinuing Gold Points on March 24th, 2025
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
    What a shame
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    True
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    Also the hell does q u e e r t r i g g e r s mean
    +1
  • D @ DemiV:
queer, like odd or unusual... the ds3's triggers.
  • D @ DemiV:
or it could be a sexual awakening? i mean, i like ps3 as much as the next guy but....
  • D @ DemiV:
too bad about the gold points though. you have to imagine there's some new loyalty thing for switch 2, but why would they keep plat points?
