Lately, I've been having intense bouts of deja vu. I'm not even talking just feeling like it's happened before. I'll be sitting there and will remember the exact moment in my dream, down to the haziness of the details of it, as the moment actually happens. When playing a boss fight in Ys Seven near the end of the game, I had intense deja vu based on where I was sitting, the TV being on, and the colors and scenery of the game. How is my mind able to perceive months in advance (had this dream before my family even moved into our apartment back in September 2010) things I've never seen before? This has happened my whole life. The dreams are always distinct in what I see, and the moment it happens in real life, I always know the dream it is exactly like.
Almost every time I have a dream I actually remember, it's of an event that actually happens at some point in my life. This isn't always the case of course. I have other dreams that are obviously never going to happen, but the bulk of my dreams invoking deja vu at a later time is pretty freaky.
Maybe I'm just weird.
