Haven’t had time for games in years due to work. Spent what little free time I had hanging out with friends and traveling for friends’ weddings and parties and stuff. Saved so much money I can literally do anything I want now, live anywhere I want (have a job where I can be 100% remote all the time), buy whatever I want.
And then the mother#%^#! virus. I can do almost nothing now. Can’t see my friends, can’t travel, can’t go out for drinks or a good meal!
So now I’m stuck working 16 hour days with occasional free time on the weekend. When I’m not reading, I actually get some time for games.
So far I’ve played-
SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays (my favorite series)
Streets of Rage 4 (great, but once you’ve blown through all the content, not really much more too it outside of score attack)
Injustice 2 (great if you want a less-violent Mortal Kombat, but I’m not a fan of DC)
It looks like this virus is going to continue on, so it looks like I may have to pull out the big guns. Which of these JRPG behemoths do I go at next?
Final Fantasy VII (full version) - I’ve played this several times on 3 different platforms, none of which I have anymore. Do I get it for PS4 as well?
Persona 5 Royale- I finished the original in Japanese when it was released 4 years ago. Haven’t gone through in English yet, but man is this game long.
Seiken Densetsu 3 remake- I loved the original, but the new one is kind of wonky. Still love the music and characters. Worth a ($50 USD) go?
