This virus needs to end, it has ruined people’s lives and taken away something that makes people happy from everyone.
That being said, more video games :/
Yakuza 6: I originally wanted this just to play the final (although maybe not based on recent news) Virtua Fighter game, but enjoyed the rest of the game as well. Did not like the new experience and battle systems. I am a little interested in Yakuza 7 now though.
Cities: Skylines - I knew this game would be super addictive and take up way too much time, and both of those things ended up being true. It’s a great game, but can’t find a lot of time to play.
Marvel VS Capcom: Infinite - This one was a no-brainer buy, but in order to get my two favorite characters (Venom and Black Panther), you need the character pass, which basically doubles the cost of the base game. Still, it’s very fun and worth $20, sad that they couldn’t add X-Men characters to get people more interested.
Other notes and things to look forward to (other than life as we know it continuing): A lot of people are excited about The King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match because they have now implemented rollback netcode, but it is only on PC. I own the Steam version, but I no longer have a computer, so I’m unable to play (even when I did have a laptop, the graphics card had issues with the game). I love that game and all the characters, but sadly I’m stuck playing the old school version for Dreamcast.
I have been replaying Jet Set Radio (PS3 re-release), using a really crappy 3rd party controller to get that realistic Dreamcast experience. It’s a great game in all aspects, but definitely not for people who are used to really polished physics that are easy to get the hang of.
Finally, there is a new(ish) Densha De Go! game coming out! I believe this is a console release of the latest arcade game. I don’t look forward to much, but I have always wanted that game to be updated, and available for purchase at a reasonable price (like less than $100).
