Super Street Fighter IV 3D online

It would seem that the online comunication is as good as they paint it. There was barely any waiting time and the battle seemed really fluid.

It seemed flawless, really. That's new to Nintendo.

I like it <----The blog part

Didn't find it worthy of a thread in the 3DS section.

Well seeing this has cheered me up. Not because the connection speed has been improved, but because I now know there's someone out there that's worse than me at Street Fighter :P

It was not that bad. he was making a movie too! if he did want to irritate us then he did play normal.(but of course that can be normal for him too :P)

He's probably playing normally, because not everyone is good at fighting games. I was actually surprised by the amount of people of have never played Street Fighter/any 2D fighter. I'm glad that they've resurfaced the past few years. But about SSFIV 3D, the video actually made me want to play it. On the fence about getting this game as I already have it for other systems, but the launch titles seem lacking. I guess I have till March 27th to decide.

I've been hearing that the 3DS online servers are really smooth and hardly have any lag; I think that's why DOA came to it in the first place.

I'm surprised the connection was so good. I didn't notice any lag at all.

I'd love to see an actual video of someone using the street pass action though...

IIRC Servers usually have a sort of 'Player:Server' ratio - the closer to 1:1 the better - this means that each player has their own server - but THIS can makes thing very expensive.
Having a 100:1 Ratio means that 100 people can 'share' a single server - meaning that if 100 people are playing @ the same time then you're only getting a 1% share of the server & so there's a good chance of 'lag' occurring (remember that a server may 'host' different games as well - so that means not everyone would be playing the same game)

.... When everywhere has released the 3DS & a lot of them are around then we'll see how the servers cope.

There weren't 4 or 5 3DS's released. It's fully out in japan. So the servers are withstanding quite a few people already. What were the day 1 sales? 400k? and with such a shit launch-lineup you can bet quite a few people got SSF4.

And IF we assume that the 3DS has the same sale success as the DSi then could the servers handle 23.54 million users all attempting to 'get online' from around the world ??
