For some odd reason, I was eating dinner and this just popped up into my head.
Dora can be used as a brainwashing tool.
For example, when Dora says "Swiper No Swiping" what does the child with the underdeveloped sense of Right and Wrong do? He says "Swiper no swiping". Now, there isn't anything wrong with that, but what if we replace "Swiper no swiping" with some, ehh, Chinese propaganda?
Eg, Dora says "Chinese censorship is for your own good!", what does the kid watching say? "Chinese censorship is for your own good!", right? The kid may not understand what that means, but it will remain permanently implanted into the kid's subconscious if it's repeated. When the kid grows up and suddenly recalls it, he will understand and believe it is right. People who have a developed sense of right and wrong can reject propaganda, but the age of kids watching Dora is the age where everything they hear, they believe, and television is one of the best ways to do that.
I don't mean to offend China or Dora, just putting out my idea.
