Fuck this spyware shits.

WAAAAAAARRRRGHHHHH

My computer is hit by a wave of spyware and shit and stuff.

i tried everythin, AVG, Spyware S&D, malwarebytes, even manually deleting registry keys that came up on scans.

fuck fuck fuck

can anyone tell me what to do? i mean, the best thing (before a reformat) that will wipe everything out?

shit, I've handled viruses and stuff back then, but this one's so fucking persistent.

sometimes, results from google redirects me to "k directory" and other motherfucking sites.

and when the computer starts up there is an error "error loading "sfqmp.dll""

but trying to search for that dll brings nothing.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU----

I normally wouldnt ask about advice for these kinds of stuff but, i dont know what to do anymore. shit.
guys please advice me.

You should NEVER have more than one antivirus performing active protection on your computer at a time. It can conflict and cause problems. If you have another on there for only periodic scanning (my little brother has Avast for protection and MBAM for scanning), that's fine, but only have one antivirus for protection.
BTW, there are certain combinations of Anti-virus programs that are actually able to work with each other without conflicting.
For example, there was a PC magazine I read that recommends the use of AVG and ThreatFire at the same time (both with live protection enabled). They work together because they use different methods of detecting viruses (AVG is using a virus signature database, while ThreatFire monitors the behavior of programs). I used to use this combo, but I didn't really like it because ThreatFire has issues with some programs, and it has some issues with installing things.
okay Im on firefox now cause this is the one that has the AVG plugin.

Im also thinking of changing to avast.

also, THANKS GUYS!! <33333

To the system restore advice, it doesnt work with my pc. i dunno why.

To the boot cd's i think ill keep it as a last resort. (after combofix i mean)

but today, Combofix saved my ass.
NP, I do this for a living (almost), so I know my s**t :creep:

BTW, "anti-malware" programs are mostly useless, and the same goes for MBAM (except maybe on easy crap like redirects).

I usually remove all that crap manually (and I use a lot more program than just ComboFix, and btw, looking at the ComboFix log is REALLY useful. So, if you want a more in-depth clean, post me the ComboFix.txt you have in your C:\)

Just use AntiVir and you should be set.

Yeah, it works pretty well for free anti-virus, it has all the functionality of a paid one (well, "paid" one). I've been using this along with AdBlock Plus and NoScript on Firefox and I've been virus free ever since.

Yup, started using it myself some days ago. I'm still not telling people to use it because I want to test it for a bit longer, before actually advising it over AntiVir (which I used for years without problems) :P

Yeah I've been using this as well, definitely seems to be pretty good for a free AV but just to warn people it does check to see if your copy of Windows is authentic, luckily my pirated version of Windows 7 passed the check.

1 - System restore will not remove infections. In fact infections often hide inside system restore in order to come back and get you when you restore to that point at a later date. Any of you actually read what system restore itself tells you when you first start it up? :|

2 - We have a sticky in the computers section with much better advice than was given in this thread.

3 - Just because you don't see an infection doesn't mean one's there. Most of them (except the ones that try to scare you into giving their credit card number) will purposely remain hidden because if you know they're there, you'll try to remove them.

Good luck on the Google redirects. I have been a victim of this a few times (currently am) and no scanner I have used is able to detect it. There are so many variants that it is hard to get into on how to uninstall it manually even.

Really? I used that a couple years back, and I had a couple of bluescreens. Maybe they've changed in a couple of years, but when I had it I was just begging for trouble.

I would like a Predator game "Kill Team" it takes place in the Jungle of the first movie, your team is sent to hunt the predator, using current tech drones and a trained team. Set traps use strategy to hunt and trap or kill the predator.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Ill stick with my Battlefield. Yea a predator hunting game like that would be cool. Esp if you can be Arnold and say "Get to da choppa"
    +1
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Maybe Arnold could do a cameo voice acting, he is the one briefing you on the mission
    +1
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking. Come to find out the bike uses a 6 volt battery and the guy had the charger set to 12v. I said sorry to the dude and walked away. I felt bad for him tho.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Sounds like it would be an exciting ride....
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Not sure I would want something on fire between my legs
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
He ruined it basically. Sad cause it was a decent old bike. It would take more money to rewire the bike than it was worth tho.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah I'm sure at minimum the starter was fried
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
