Ive been here for about 2 and a half years now. It all started before i even knew about this place. I had a DS phat and was tired of mp3 players. I didnt want to buy an ipod.
I discovered the Max Media Dock.
It played music (ok), movies (very poorly), and i could still use my ds for games.
One device to rule them all.
Eventually the MMD stopped play anything at all and would just freeze up on me. Annoying. I liked the two card system with the huge bulky CF card reader stuffed into the GBA slot.
I moved on to the Datel Games 'n' Music. What a piece of crap.
Worst than the MMD cause i hated not having the big CF reader and stuff. It only worked part of the time and eventully my DS stopped recognizing it was even in my DS.
I think i traded walmart for about 3 of them till one customer service woman was dumb enough to accept my opened electronics package for a full refund.
I went till christmas of my senior year with no alternative, just a really crappy 2 gig mp3 player that ate batteries like no other.
I stumbled across the ill fated R4 original one day. It was like a dream come true.
I got it for christmas and loved it. I needed help and found lots of info here. I joined.
One thing lead to another and i ended up here today typing this.
I want to take a moment and say that i love all of you temps. This is an amazing forum we have here. You guys help me feel like i fit in if everything is going wrong in my world.
I must say i am grateful for Costello's decision to remove the roms formerly hosted on this very site. If he didnt i would have probably never found this place.
On a less sentamental note, since i am not looking forward to any upcoming DS title, i am devoting my summer to finishing the DS titles that i have forsaked for some reason on another.
I have on the line up,
Pokemon Soul Silver-stopped cause i took apart my DS and messed some stuff up. Now that im home i can continue with by bros DS.
Advance Wars Days of Ruin-I stopped cause i went back to school and i dont play much at school. I just feel weird sitting in my room alone with my DS when im surrounded by friends.
Front Mission 1st-I beat the OCU side, but never played much of the UCS side. I would like to finish both side, cause i fell in love with it the first time around.
Rune Factory-I think im on the 7th dungeon. I just wanna rush the rest of the game.
FFTA2-Never finished this one. I got part way and just could take much more of it. I bought it because FFTA gave me huge expectations for this one.
