Is DSI this Generation's Gameboy Micro

well
i was just thinking
Nvidia is already talking about the enhanced graphics of a future handheld of Nintendo
nintendo released gameboy micro just a year before of the DS release , and this was almost a Scam XD
those who bought GBAM bought a desesperate intent to sell the remaining GBA games in stock ....
i hope dsi doesnt trick us like that ,,,
the matter is that nintendo's new handheld may be released in the next year Tokyo Game Show
and all that bought DSI ( LIKE ME) will be f(^*&)*&d OUT XD

Comments

No for 2 reasons.
1. It was released before the next handheld revision was released
2. It is actually selling very well

it's more like this generation's gameboy color :)

grey is ds games, black is dsi enhanced games, transparent is white dsi games

I really don't think we'll see the next generation Nintendo consoles till 2012, the DSi games haven't even arrived...!! :wtf:

if u compare gbam to gba sp then gbam is nothing
but if u compare ds to dsi then dsi is much better and has alot of good funtions so i dont think its a disappointment like the gbam

system flaw ;)

though it couldn't be compared clearly i would rather say that the new outcoming dsi xl is something like the micro, because it also don't come along with new features, it just differs in the size. so the exchange will just depend on personal preferences

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

  • Veho @ Veho:
    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
