Why can't I spend my money better?

Here's some dumb shit I did recently instead of buying new games.

- Bought BotW for the fifth time.

- Bought TotK for the third time.

- Bought Pokémon Scarlet/Violet for the second time. 🤡

- Bought another Switch.

I wish I'd bought some new stuff instead [could've gotten like 10 games] because I'm never going to touch any of these no matter what I tell myself.

Are you selling and reselling the games?
If financial trading is the reason, I don't see anything wrong with that - I do the same, with guaranteed re-selling titles

If it was for different consoles....i would partially understand. I have GTA5 on nearly everything it came out on: PS3,PC on steam,XBOX360, PS4 disc, PS4 digital....and i think on Steam a second time...for a second account! And once i get a PS5....possibly AGAIN!

I have BotW twice. one for Wii U and one on switch....if you would have switch 2 it could make sense to get it there to. But 5 times? why? :)

If they're still sealed....sell them with a tiny 10-20% loss if you can, makes it seem like a deal to buyers. Then buy the games you would want instead. :D

On the other hand....I have 14+ Wii's, 2 Wii U's, one of each model 3DS, 4 PS1's, 3-5 DS's, 4-6 GBA's....yep...i've got a issues. :D

I did consider selling them but just couldn't bring myself to :ha:

As for why I bought it 5 times, here I go: 1st was to play [around launch], 2nd was the PEGI one because I liked the cover art, 3rd was because it was finally complete on cartridge, 4th was because they released the DLC on cartridge, and 5th was the Switch 2 version.

But 14+ Wiis is the stuff of dreams. If only shipping and taxes weren't more expensive than the consoles :rofl2:

Aha, that sounds more like a collector of different versions than buying a game randomly 5 times. :D

as for 14+ wii's....there is a local webshop that sells them used. sometimes dirt cheap. They might have scratches, cracks, discoulored, dirty, and the lowest prices are without wires or controllers or power supply

I stopped counting at 14. gave away about 3-4 to friends and family, hahaha. The plan was to experiment with a wii portable....never got around to it. But for that...cutting the mainboard was the reason i wanted spares. But i did stop buying them after a while. even though...5,49....insane! it might have a damaged and discoulored shell....it's working and comes with a guarantee even!! I don't think i even seen one this low....my lowest i think was 9.99. and indeed...it worded fine. hahahah

Guess how many i still use today. ;P

When i was active with my homebrew developing i did use a few of them often. Now...i only have one mostly as a decoration piece i guess.

Lol I once read about a guy buying 30-ish brand new Wiis for like $10 on Yahoo Auctions and assumed it was something like that. Shipping must've been atrocious but still.

That said, a room decorated with Wiis sounds pretty cool to me B-)

ah. ok. collector vibes. I can relate with appreciating cover arts for all medias, but I wouldn't actively keep the unwanted versions and only have them because it's not selling, ha.
Not so much now, after selling most off ...Though I still have the Metal Gear Solid and Shadow of the Colossus various versions.

...I'm with collecting artbooks now, lol
