Okay, y'know, I'm a trans girl, have been for a long while, and I've had this profile picture for a long time, too. I've gone on before about how the colors in my profile picture represent specific things. So, one might think "Oh, why didn't you make a version of your PFP with trans pride colors?"
Because it looks terrifying no matter how I go about it.
I tried this:
It burns my eyes, and as a thumbnail, it's not terribly distinct.
So I went for something a bit more subtle: But once again, it's not that distinct in a thumbnail. You can't really see the white parts about it and it looks more like a Switch neon joy-con knock off than the trans pride flag.
Besides, I have an opinion that making things like gender, sexuality, or race celebrated outwardly as something special is degrading and goes against the concept of equality. But that is, once more, my opinion. Although, if any of you wanted to take a crack at it, feel free. I can give you a black and white version of my icon that I use for recolors.
