I made a system monitor for my PC using my spare Raspberry Pi 3.

It's using the MoBro software made by ModBro.

The theme came with it too, and looks really cool.

(I know my CPU temp is high, it was on purpose so I could see more green bar.)

I'll be upgrading this to a 7" Waveshare screen in the future when I get working again, but it works for now.

I got it in 2018, due to bit-coin miners of 2016 hoarding the cards. So I'm waiting for the 3070ti to come out and be in stock before I upgrade.

Nice choice! I picked up my 2060 early this year and I honestly regret spending the money and not waiting for the 30 series to come out lol

I bought my girlfriend the evga 2060 right before the 3000 series dropped, but it's perfect for her games. She mainly plays Wow, Skyrim remastered, and Witcher 3. Those are the most graphically demanding games she likes, so she's set for a while. I want a 3070 because it has 8GB of VRAM. Not sure why nvidia is so stingy with VRAM... But it sucks.

Ironically enough, I snatched up the Founder's Edition GTX 1080 during that bitcoin hoard from that time period! I bought it after giving my whole "Gaming PC-connected-to-TV" AKA HTPC idea a whirl, and while typing like this is a little more difficult on the eyes, when playing games, I can pat myself on the back knowing I'm not only getting a superior gaming experience to the console peasants, but I also have the couch comfort that they like to tout as being exclusive to console gaming!

I’m thinking of doing something like this after watching the Jays Two Cents video yesterday, except i’d want it on my front 5.25” bay.

One thing I miss about my old G15 keyboard was having it’s built in display show system info.

I had the G15 without the screen, and I always resented how my LED keys were so dim. Even in the dark on the brightest setting, dim af. I have the G.Skill RGB keyboard now, and love it with mx cherry reds. My new case also doesn't have a drive bay, so I have to lug out my USB DVD burner when I wanna rip an audio CD to FLAC.

Don't get me wrong, my 1060 6GB can play Doom Eternal with Ultra Nightmare graphics at a solid 60 in 4K with full HDR turned on... So I can't complain, it's still a VERY capable card.

Dude, you can get a good external Blu-ray drive for pretty cheap last I checked.

What's expensive is one of those ones that can rip PS3 Blu-rays as well as 4K Blu-rays!

I don't care about PS3 Blu-ray, but I do want a 4K Blu-ray burner. USB 3.0 minimum too.

@Jayro

If you buy a drive, I'd make sure to get it with the software as I've found this cheaper long term.

Although if you're only interested in ripping UHD discs, I'd just get a 'UHD friendly' drive.

I already use the best software, Nero Burning Rom and DVDFab Platinum. I always buy OEM drives.
