Wild blueberry recipes?

Anybody have any good recipes?

I picked up about 3 cups of blueberries this morning. If I don't have ideas by tonight I might just make muffins.

All good and well until you realize they were poison berries after all...
but seriously that's neat, both of those ideas sound good right now

I would use them to make Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake or Lemon Blueberry Layer cake. (Lemon and blueberries work really well together in cakes)

Or if its breakfast time I would make blueberry pancakes.

Or maybe you've been lied to all your life and you've simply developed a tolerance for poison berries

Well.....Blueberry jam/fruit spread is nice and would go great on some chocolate chip pancakes.

You can get really wild and make fruitcubes (smashed fruit+water, then freeze) or fruitbar ice pops.

You can make a blueberry vinaigrette.

Personally, I make a decent blueberry pie, but my recipe is secret....for now.

The best bet might be to freeze them and wait for something good to come up....like, making a blueberry drizzle (blueberry+sugar water boiled, mashed, strained) and putting it on ice cream before the seasons change.

From the sounds of it, you dropped them in yogurt, will put them on cereal in the morning and have been eating the blueberries like fruit popcorn for a bit now.

@RedColoredStars, yeah the symptoms you describe sounded like that, I'm not a Dr though I'm sure there could be other causes but that one sounded close to me.

@SylverReZ Significant pain in my neck, shoulder, and back of my head. Loud ringing in my ear and sounds like I have an ear plug in. Excessive tiredness. Slightly blurred vision.

Been going on for 40 days. Regular doctors and chiropractor did not help. ENT appointment isn't for another 27 days. I hope I live that long.

That really sounds like the nerve in your neck
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
Everything leads to vegas nerve compression. which in looking into it, can cause very bad health issues and can absolutely be fatal.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@RedColoredStars, That sucks. My mum had a very bad neck and she's been to many drs to see what the problem is, and none of them noticed anything (except for one). They found that her discs is squeezing between her esophagus.

Try a hot wet towel (almost burning hot) on your upper neck almost the base of your skull. Might provide temporary relief

Yes. Thats what Ive read. Surgery is most likely required. I sent a message to the ENT center with my concerns and asked if I should be seen much sooner and not wait, since it will be 71 days since symptoms started until my appointment.
